The USA has a lower murder rate if you take out the high murder cities in the US and compare them to countries that get no such latitude???

You don’t have to do this to demonstrate that these cities skew our numbers. Just compare the homicide rates in their rural areas to ours and you see that ours are the same or lower.
We have something like 200 cities with over 200k people. Removing the five worst large cities from the US wouldn’t drop our overall population numbers like it would in many other countries.
