The defense needs to show up tomorrow with a hundred page motion for mistrial with prejudice. Drop it on the old man’s desk and telling him this is getting resolved today. It’s bad enough with one instance that should have this trail tossed but you can’t even count everything on one hand now. The judge absolutely disregard the law today by letting the jury leave with those instructions and over the objections of the defense. There isn’t a magic remedy to undo all the damage done here

6 people are probably scared of what happens if they go against the mob. I can't entirely say I don't blame them.
There isn't a single case in this country that should ever be televised or allowing media in the court rooms for reasons exactly like this.

I was thinking same, but then it dawned on me that regardless whether it's televised or not, the knowledge that it's a very well known and highly volatile case os still there, and the concern will still be there because, say in this case Rittenhouse were to be acquitted, that would obviously be big news just the same, and all a vengeful person would have to do is be resourceful enough to figure out who the jurors were, and if intent on revenge, that could still happen. Again, regardless whether it was televised or not.
That same line of thinking also sorta devalues the idea of protection by being sequestered. You still have a decision to make as a juror, that decision is going to be publicized one way or another, and you gonna have to go home eventually.

The media still controls what the mob thinks or does. If they have no clips of the trial to take out of context and use as propaganda and post all over social media, the mob has no instruction on how/what to think. Tell me I'm wrong

The media doesn’t need clips or sound bytes from the actual trial. They’ll just make up their own from “sources” like they do with classified material or cases, and the public will take it as fact.

IF that is true, then this country is headed towards a messy fight. The judge dismissing the case with prejudice doesn't matter in the long run if half the country sides with the leftists in BLATANT political hit jobs like this.
