Do note this trial is taking place where there are 90% whites, yet vote Democrat on most everything.

In 2016, Donald Trump became the first Republican presidential candidate to win the county since President Nixon in 1972. Trump won it again in 2020, this time with an outright majority of the vote, marking the first consecutive victories for the GOP in Kenosha County since 1928.

Not a leftist hellhole like Milwaukee or Dane (Madison) Counties.

If that’s true then the intimidation tactics from the left have worked

Got some facts to back that up?

*Can you point out where Kenosha is on that map?

No, it's not.

That's pure speculation, at this point, by people on the internet based on some things Robert Barnes has speculated. It's speculation based on speculation- nothing more.

It's possible. But, speculation, still.

All we know is that we don't know what's going on in that jury room other than the fact that it's taking a long time (or longer than expected, anyway) for them to reach a verdict.

I’m sure she asked to take the instructions home because she was trying to figure out a way to persuade the guilty voters to change their minds

I don't KNOW why she asked to take the instructions home. No one else knows. You don't know, either.

I don't even know that it was the foreperson who asked to take the instructions home. No one else knows. You don't know, either.

It's all speculation. Fact.

If you have some proof as opposed to speculation that she is a "hardcore leftist," I'd be happy to be proven wrong. Please, provide it.

Again, she could be. It's possible. May even be probable. But, it's still just speculation, right now.

The fact this case was prosecuted already proved how lost this country is.

Instead of speculating on it being 6-6 I'd rather have it confirmed by someone there that it was the foreman that asked for permission to take the instructions home.

Exactly.

I mean, the whole thing was caught on video. Anyone with a functioning brain can watch the video and not need to parse the damn jury instructions to acquit.

But liberals lack functioning brains.

I'd imagine it's a safe bet that it was.

We think the foreperson is a woman. A woman asked if she could take the instructions home, although that doesn't mean it was the foreperson who asked.

But, for what reason, we don't know, either.

She could be studying the instructions because they're having a hard time navigating through 37 or 40 pages of jury instructions and wants to get this over with, so she's studying it, tonight, in hopes of being more prepared tomorrow to lead the others through it.

That's a reasonable possibility.

There is also the possibility that she's doing some research into legal definitions outside the jury room for nefarious means of persuading others who are dug-in not-guilty votes.

We just don't know.

But, it's probably a good guess that she's the foreperson.

The county went Red in '20 Presidential, but the power structure in Kenosha is a blue cesspool.

It doesn’t matter what her reasoning is. Wisconsin state law clearly forbids this. Jurors are not to study, research, discuss or do anything in regards to the case outside of the jury room. If the instructions are confusing or she has questions, she’s supposed to ask the court directly for guidance, not take them home and study or self educate herself

I know. I'm not defending it. I was just giving a couple of plausible reasons why she might have asked.

Schroeder shouldn't have allowed her to do so.

Schroeder shouldn't have allowed a lot of things that he allowed.
