We need a Constitutional amendment to prevent this shite. I see this all the time on true crime dramas. The prosecution can’t make its case, so they lower to manslaughter or something. Shouldn’t be allowed. When I’m called in for jury duty, I always say I will acquit even if lesser charges are brought. I usually don’t get picked…

My thought was you cannot claim self defense while committing a crime?
Kyle went to another state w/ a firearm he wasn't supposed to have in the first place? Or maybe I'm seeing something others aren't?
Not saying the others involved shouldn't be charged w/ something to..

quote:Sure you will. The jury is ready to get back to normal life and they are not wanting to be threatened after this is over, so Guilty on at least one felony count.
So, this will never end? You will never get 12 people to agree on this.

The media is doing it's job.
Amazing people still believe this lie.

The firearm never left the state of Wisconsin. It was bought there by Dominic Black and remained there in his dads gun safe. He never crossed state lines with a gun

Dominic Black is being charged for that.
Purchase or providing? I thought he loaned him the gun?

So a guy jaywalking cannot defend himself?

None of this is true.

I'm guilty of this myself, but refrain from commenting until you're more informed.

Welcome to the party. The left gets a pass, while others get prosecuted to the letter of the law. The jury is the last line of defense.

They're going to try to get him for a straw purchase.

if kyle took the gun to his house in IL they might have a better shot at that.

I'm with you on this, just thinking of possibilities. But if there is a segment that gets real unhappy about it and take to the streets. I can't help but think that this Justice Dept would go for a civil rights charge against Rittenhouse
He'll walk, of course, and I doubt it gets beyond a federal grand jury.

KR did more community work in one evening than the entire prosecution and MSM has done for the world in a whole decade.
This kid:
- put out fires
- defended property
- gave EMT assistance
- ridded this nation of several leftists felons.
He’s a fricking hero!

You aren’t seeing anything others aren’t. In fact, millions of others see the same as you. And they are all LIES. This, folks, is Exhibit A as to what’s wrong in this clown-world country.

That's completely incorrect and nullifies everything else you have to say, as it's painfully obvious you haven't watched a second of the trial or have done basic research.

So whats the rule in that state? Does it have to be unanimous jury vote? majority? Each charge different?
Posted on 11/12/21 at 11:59 am to RealDawg
Surely there are a few people on the jury that see this a total self defense and stand firm to at least a hung jury.
It is quite obvious that it is self defense and I hope the Defense played these videos thru and full speed to show the attacks in full and put themselves in that situaion.

Jerry fires twice that fast on 4x as many targets with a double action revolver.
4 or 5 shots per second is rapid/suppressive fire with this particularly type of weapon. It's suppressive fire, so not particularly well aimed, but if the target is grabbing the barrel, probably accurate enough.
