The feminists have already tried this, and the cheerleaders told them to go away. The cheerleaders enjoy the job. Of course, the feminists will keep trying, because they don't actually care about the women that disagree with them.

They make minimum wage, yet there are thousands of girls dying to be on these cheer teams... 
I think if these teams want them to go to special events they should pay them good money to do it, but hell if there are enough women willing to do it, who are we to question their decisions? It's more misogynistic to tell these women "no don't do that" then to just let them do their thing.

Yep. Some look at it as getting a job at McDonalds. People say you have to start somewhere to work your way up in this world. The writer of the article, Claire McNear, is basically looking down her nose at these girls imo. Another high horse feminist no doubt.

I've noticed that both NCAA and NFL broadcast partners show cheerleaders far less frequently on their intros and outros to commercial recently.
Also remember during the World Cup that FIFA asked their cameramen to stop showing beautiful young women in the stands so frequently.

“Real Sports” on HBO did a piece on this. It seems to be the new liberal stance to oppose these women the jobs and exposure they get for being cheerleaders. I don’t understand it but I guess they have to find a new cause to be outraged at even though they are total hypocrites by taking a women’s choice of employment away from them.

So earlier this year a KC Chiefs cheerleader popped up on my Facebook feed. I was like “wow, hottie!” Then I realized it was a friends daughter. I felt really creepy at that point.

I laugh whenever I think of NFL Cheerleaders. I worked with a woman who told me one of her neighbors daughters was a Bucs cheerleader. She thought it was great, the landscaping on the street was immaculate.
Seems the girl would come out every Saturday after lunch to wash her car in a string bikini.....and every husband in the neighborhood would hit the yards, mowing, edging....

Cheerleaders are pretty useless with the size of the crowds and the PA systems used these days. I can see keeping them for college due to tradition but I don’t know why they are needed for the NFL.

The sex positive feminists have been taken over by the modern day feminists who view anything that men enjoy is bad, so they're against women's sexuality. Also most of them are grotesque so theres a lot of jealousy there too.

I agree, and if that's the reason they're eventually done away with thats fine. But this business of everything being sexist is retarded and I hope the NFL/individual teams don't cave.
