RGA gives DeSantis $21 mill but zero to Lake. ETA: corrected $12.5 to Lake.

Friends of Ron DeSantis
And to top it off the head of the Republican Governor's Association is Governor Doug Ducey from Arizona.
RGA
I mean Ron had his election in the bag while Kari Lake was in a dog fight but the RGA spent all their funds on DeSantis. You would think the head of the RGA as a Republican governor of Arizona would be interested in replacing his seat with another Republican.
I guess Kari is not in the Club.
ETA: David_DJS says RGA spent $11 million on Lake. I take him at his word. Apparently the source transparencyusa.org is not up to date.

They weren't gonna let Lake win. Hell, her competition was in charge of counting the votes.

Trump went head to head with the establishment and raised a lot of money. It was on him to spend it on candidates he wanted to win.
He decided to save it for himself and it probably will cost him the nomination.

Oz was similarly fricked over in PA. As was Murkowski’s republican opposition in Alaska.
Deep State will circle the wagons for themselves and leave the party (and its voters) out to die.

The last report I saw was Trump raised $150 between January and August of last year. It was from 10s of thousnads of small donors.
DeSantis raised $200 million in the same timeframe and most of it was from 5-6 donors. Ken Griffin being the biggest.

The GOP elite is surfacing and it won't bode well for us in 2023 with them looking to solidify their own interests. Turtle and his pact will see that happens.

How screwed up is this? RGA gives DeSantis $21 mill but zero to Lake. The Republican Governors Association (RGA) is providing more assistance to GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake by funding a new coordinated campaign.
Driving the news: The RGA is canceling about $6.5 million in TV airtime it reserved through Election Day and is instead shifting that money to the Yuma County Republican Party.
The Yuma GOP's coordinated campaign with Lake has reserved about $7.1 million worth or airtime from this week through Nov. 8.
The RGA has already spent more than $4 million on TV ads against Democratic nominee Katie Hobbs so far.
Why it matters: Candidates get better rates on airtime than outside groups like RGA.
The coordinated campaign can buy about $1 million more worth of TV ads than the RGA could with the same amount of money, RGA political director J.P. Twist tells Axios.
Outside groups known as independent expenditures (IEs) aren't permitted to coordinate with candidates, but state law allows political parties to do so.
Gumbo, you're becoming the Froman/Celtic from the Right on this board.
What you've posted here is patently false. The RGA definitely supported Lake's campaign. I saw their commercials myself.
From reports that are easy to find online, they funded Lake to the tune of over $11MM after her primary win.

ETA: if your source is correct maybe the RGA came in late for Lake. But why not spread a little love to other GOP governors at the same time as DeSantis? DeSantis has his election in the bag.

Lake had to win a primary. DeSantis didn't.
