1) Not a federal issue. SCOTUS has not settled that forever, but it made it MUCH harder to make it one. He has said, though, that he would support a federal ban on anything after 15 weeks. That's practically heresy in his party.
2) He believes the climate change debate should be more a market issue and not a government mandate. He does believe fossil fuels cause climate change, though, and I am not a fan of his stance on fracking. It's ignorant, IMHO. I would hope he would come around to considering modern nuclear plants.
3) Affirmative Action? I don't like what I have heard, and would hope that he would look at options that are based on socioeconomic factors.
4) Policing? No idea, but I would assume a man with a genetic pre-disposition for terminal bullet cancer would be less likely to indulge ACAB idiots.
At the end of the day, I consider one of the biggest enemies we have to be the intersection of mass media and entrenched government. If you can't take out (or weaken/expose) that, then actual policy doesn't really matter.
This is the central, existential issue to me right now.

Exactly what this is going to do. Biden four more years will happen bc of people like you for sure.

what does he do if he fixes that problem though (I would be shocked if he cared or tried)?
all those policies become issues he will push
that could actually be more dangerous for us in the long run
feels way too high risk

Another Ross Perot. Siphon off just enough votes to give the Democrats a win.
You don’t know history. Perot did not come from the Democratic Party and was probably conservative than a very moderate Bush. RFK and his family are lifelong Democrats. He is a lot more liberal than Trump and only slightly less liberal than Biden. This is basically like having 2 democrats running.

But I think RFK takes more votes away from Biden than he will from Trump…so I think RFK running 3rd party is a plus for Trump
Exactly, see my post above.

The blue dogs will vote for him.

Exactly. Anyone who thinks that democrat voters will vote any way other than a straight democratic ticket is delusional. The only ones that'll vote for him are the moderate republicans that fail to acknowledge what he is...a liberal.
Just because he might (and I say might very cautiously) be tired of the direction that the democratic party is currently going, doesn't mean he doesn't want to implement the green new deal or take away everyone's guns. He is only entering the race to syphon off the independent and moderate voters that Trump will need to win an already rigged race.

There are no more true "blue dogs". They all switched to the republican party back in the late 90's early 2000's. The people that call themselves that now vote on the democratic side 99% of the time, almost lock and step with the party. Those are the ones that will be syphoned from the republican vote.

Joe Biden and the Democrats thank you. Gullible rubes like you are who the Kennedy campaign is aimed at.
Yea sorry the moment Trump shut down the economy and gave out stimulus checks to everyone is the moment he lost me.
So if you want to point the finger and call people gullible then go ahead and stay on that path while he keeps telling you he’s gonna lock up the deep state. tIcK ToCk….

Well, for one, we have an honest debate among people about the issues, instead of having the “solutions” canned and evangelized by a sycophantic, one-sided media.
Can’t see that ever happening, if I’m honest.

Let me simplify this. A Bush family member runs who votes for him. Moderate republicans and some independents. A Kennedy family runs and gets less liberal Democrats and some independents. Come on people this isn’t rocket science.

Logic is faulty. Majority of Dems think Biden shouldn’t run. This is basically a second democrat running, I don’t care what he calls himself. Kennedy’s are Democrats to their core, think of The most recent, uncle Ted, a liberal POS.
Posted on 10/9/23 at 2:17 pm to AubieinNC2009
Unfortunately Republican voters who vote for whatever trendy candidate that aligns with whatever current issue is important to them at the moment are the reason this country is so fricked right now. Say what you want about the democrats but they vote together knowing a candidate that aligns with 75% of their beliefs is better than a candidate that aligns with 0%. Yet Republican's continue to try to prove that they are so smart and morally superior by voting Libertarian or now third party giving the election to the democratic party. Very smart guys, enjoy your higher taxes, terrible economy and losing the country you claim to love due to your own stupidity.

Yeah, but JFK would either be a moderate Republican or a Democratic pariah today.

Pro Abortion, pro LGBTQ craziness, pro high taxes, big global warming hack, and a life long democrat. Some stupid people will vote for him and that will give Trump the win. Hopefully!
