It’s worse than that. The down ticket success on Betas coattails has endangered the courts, statehouse, and other building block institutions.

The Dims success was astounding and could be a signal of the end. Not from an ideological standpoint but a tactical one.

Not just conservatives. If/when that happens the entire country as we know it is fricked, like 1990s former Soviet Union fricked.

Then all the conservatives should move to California just to watch the libtards panic when Cali starts electing Republican presidents with its 55 electoral votes

I like the idea but I live very well in the rural south; I’d probably be in a spec house on .15 acres out there. No thanks.

By the way its not just Texas but other states which have smaller population bases are also being turning Blue because of the Central American northerly migration trends.

Utah, Arizona, Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming are all getting bluer and bluer every election. Idaho, Oregon, Washington State, & Montana are four states to watch in particular.

New Mexico, Nevada, and Colorado have already turned Blue. Arizona is now effectively Blue as well.

Montana and Wyoming have had Democratic Governors and Senators over the last few years and those two states are actually trending more Blue not more Red.

In 2016, CNN exit polls showed just 15 percent of voters in the Arizona Senate race were Latino. In 2018, 18 percent were. In the 2016 Senate race, those same exit polls showed 53 percent of Latinos voted Democratic. But in 2018, 69 percent did.

The states that have larger agricultural areas have smaller populations but agriculture needs workers and illegal immigrants have been flooding these western states with farm workers. Over a short period of time you knock out the native population's voting strength and this turns the state Blue. This is why the Democrats don't want to turn off the immigration spigot because it is helping them take control over the US politically.

As of 2012, Hispanics and Latinos made up about 17% of the total U.S. population.

The Hispanic Populations of these states in 2016 versus 1980:
Arizona 30.9% (1980 it was 16.2%)
California 38.9% (1980 it was 19.2%)
Colorado 21.3% (1980 it was 11.8%)
Hawaii 10.4% (1980 it was 7.4%)
Idaho 12.3% (1980 it was 3.9%)
Nevada 28.5% (1980 it was 6.7%)
Montana 3.6% (1980 it was 1.3%)
New Mexico 48.5% (1980 it was 36.6%)
Oregon 12.8% (1980 it was 2.5%)
Texas 39.1% (1980 it was 21%)
Utah 13.8% (1980 it was 4.1%)
Washington 12.4% (1980 it was 2.9%)
Wyoming 9.6% (1980 it was 5.2%)

Louisiana 4.9% (1980 it was 2.4%)
Florida 24.9% (1980 it was 8.8%)

The 2020 Census is going to be incredible to watch because the Hispanic growth will end up being the majority population in New Mexico and it will very close to being the majority in Texas and California.

LO fricking L

Abbott destroyed a socialist Latino woman by almost 20%.

He got 40% of the Latino vote and 19% of the black vote.

Cruz, although I like him, is a religious nut who was not liked.

Trump will do much better in Texas than 2016 because he won’t have that Cruz faction against him. He’s also polling very well with Latinos currently.

And LO fricking L at Castro being talked about possibly being a factor to turning Texas blue. Little shite can’t even speak Spanish.

California political money is flooding into:

Texas
Tennessee
Nevada
Georgia
Florida

coincidentally those 5 states are were fed up Californians and New Jersey residents are fleeing to and continuing to vote for Democrats.

I'd be worried to if you continue to give me people like Ted Cruz to vote for. frick that guy.

No need to really worry though - Abbott still held the Governor seat by a huge margin.

The way you guys talk you would think you were forced to live in a prison camp for Obama's 8 years and now you've been living in a penthouse for the last 2 years. Your life is the exact same now as it was when the scary blue people were president, and you'll be fine in 2 years when they take over again.

Take it down a notch.

Agreed. Join your county and town Republican groups. Attend meetings. Learn how to help and be a strong leader now as opposed to jumping in in 2020.

I did, and the enthusiasm is great. Texas nay eventually go Den, but I will work to keep it red as long as possible.

I get the liberals moving to Texas will vote Dem., but do/will most immigrants?

Most of the TPS workers I've been around know our politics and would support Trump if they could.

Texas Patriots need to daily talk to the "comrades" who moved in to Texas from California. They need to talk about why their companies had to move.
Educate them as to why those policies they voted for in California will eventually kill Texas too, and in the end cause them to have to move again

I met a guy this last year that just moved to Temple, 45 miles north of Austin. He said it had gotten to expensive and to run down. He had actually moved there from California 8 years ago because of cost of living.

Had a Beto sign.
