Crazy how this board keeps telling me Fox is the most anti Trump network out there and is worse than CNN yet Trump keeps hiring all their on air people. Doesn't he know how much they hate him and work against him?

Anything that gets her off “The 5” is OK with me. She’s hard to watch..

Pirro, who joined Fox News in 2006, cohosts the network’s show “The Five” on weekday evenings. She was elected as a judge in New York’s Westchester County Court in 1990 before serving three terms as the county’s elected district attorney.

quote:

Pirro, a 1975 graduate of Albany Law School, has significantly more courtroom experience than Martin. She led one of the nation’s first domestic violence units in a prosecutor’s office.

quote:

After her elected terms as a judge and district attorney, Pirro briefly campaigned in 2005 as a Republican to unseat then-Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton before announcing that she would would run for New York attorney general instead. She lost that race to Andrew Cuomo, son of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo.

Sounds qualified to me.

Y’all don’t get vibes that Pitro is barely a step above Rudy Giuliani in sobriety and lucidity?

You really think she’s up for this job?

Gaetz was the pick. He must not really want it.

Harder to qualify than under Biden. All you had to do then was put on a dress and put a dick in your mouth.

The dumb shite you liberals latch on to in unison is the best entertainment ever. You might want to go look up her resume before spewing your liberal talking point. I’ll bet you her resume is better than 80% of the judges and us attorneys out there. But you do you.

It isn't like she's been in some retirement home...she has been involved and is up on current affairs.

Involved in what? TV?

None of that qualifies her to lead the most important US Attorney office in the country. I'm a Republican and staunch Trump supporter. While he's made some better hires than he made his first term, he still continues to evaluate candidates on the wrong metrics and it causes him to make some poor hires. This one will turn out to be one of those.

Really?

Her career

She was an ADA in county court for 15 years where she claimed to have handled 50 cases, which turned out to actually be 10 cases in 15 years.

She was a county court judge for a total of 3 years.

She was a county DA for a total of 12 years.

She's been a Fox TV personality since 2005, after getting a taste of it commenting on the OJ trial in 1994 on Larry King Live.

Nothing about that resume screams "I'm ready to lead the most important US Attorney office in the land

As anticipated, President Trump has moved Acting USAO Ed Martin to an internal position within Main Justice where he will oversee a review of the Dept of Justice weaponization efforts that took place under Joe Biden.

Mr Martin will also be responsible for reviewing pardons as the DOJ pardon attorney, which also seems to align with the “autopen” review.

quote:

Ed Martin was what President Trump needed; a very serious, deliberate and qualified person to confront the Deep State UniParty. Those core skillsets are why the Republicans did not support him.

However, on the optimistic side, if there is ever a special counsel to be appointed, I suspect Ed Martin will be leading candidate.

Pirro is MILES better then ANY Biden Cabinet pick. Not to mention she's better then anyone Boasberg would have picked.

Communication directors and chiefs of staff are different, they are just personal assistants to the president, they have no real power.

Well, the real difference is that those 5 went from government to the media. Trump is pulling people from media to work in government.
