True, because the US knows what you dont. Landing troops there would be a bloodbath and you could never soften them up enough to do so.

If you are using Ukraine as an example of their prowess in a ground war then you might want to rethink it. You can take almost a year to capture one city then talk about how good you are on the ground. Also very few if any standalone Wagner units are still operating in Ukraine. That ended after their attempted coup and the assassination of Prigozhin. As far as Africa they have all but been replaced there by the Africa Corps. Which is basically another mercenary group except its essentially directly controlled by the Russian government. After Prigozhin died they have basically become a shell of what they once were.

So you are saying that US air power couldn't soften up outdated air defenses and defensive installations? That combined with what would most likely be multiple missile barrages from destroyers and other combat ships in the area. Not like they would be trying to take Omaha Beach

Ok. So the people on this forum against helping Ukraine because it may cause issues with Russia I assume will be against bombing Venuzela then.

Ukraine is not only a military action for Russia is it is also a police action. Sure they are wiping out some towns and regions but for the most part they are trying minimize the damage and just leave the killing to military aged Ukrainian men. Thus the slow grind.

American Shock and Awe principles do not apply to Russia. It's a generational fight for them.

Is that why they send hundreds of drones into Kiev every night? All those military men in apartment buildings and strip malls ? Bombing the heat generation facilities for the apartments in big cities in order to freeze the troops in the trenches?

You don't even believe that
