It's amazing how many down votes this comment got, when it is the truth. I am totally against reparations, but please tell me that you don't think that more black people take advantage of welfare/ poverty programs than whites? There are about 251,000,000 white people in the US, with a poverty rate of 8.3%. There are about 49,000,000 black people in the US, with a poverty rate of 24.1%. You do the math....
Already spent $22 trillion in pseudo-reparations.

Blacks are involved with welfare at a much higher rate than white folks. Do you understand the difference?
In 2017, blacks took more in welfare than whites, so your point is invalid regardless.

I am a Daughter of the Mayflower. I want to be compensated for what my ancestors did in making the crossing and helping to build this nation.
I am a Daughter of the American Revolution and most foot soldiers weren’t fully compensated for their service, I want their pay with interest! I also reward for my ancestors fighting to establish this country!
Of course I am being facetious, but where does it stop?

I think reparations were paid in full from the 300k plus men who died I order to free to slaves.
If they want real dollars, they should seek payment from African tribes who originally accepted payment for their bondage.
