Remember when democrats scoffed at the idea that elections could be 'stolen'?

Senate Democrats spent two hours behind closed doors last week rehearsing how they would respond if the Trump administration tried to interfere with the November midterm elections.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, convened nearly a dozen senators for the second in a series of tabletop exercises examining scenarios that could disrupt the vote. They included AI-generated videos designed to spread disinformation on and after Election Day, as well as the possibility of National Guard troops or immigration agents being stationed near polling places.
“We have to prepare for it,” Schumer told MS NOW after the session. “What these so-called tabletop exercises teach us is when you’re prepared in advance, you can stop a lot of bad, bad things from happening, a lot of the stealing that he will do.”
Marc Elias, a longtime Democratic election lawyer who participated in the closed-door session, said the exercises were not intended to stoke fear. []
“What we’re doing is preparing for the fact that Donald Trump, in 2020, lied about the election in advance, lied about it in the aftermath, went to court and then he instigated a violent insurrection in this very building,” Elias told MS NOW. “So I think we need to take these threats in the 2026 midterm run-up both seriously and literally.”

I love how the only stolen elections are the ones the GOP loses.

There must be an ICE wagon parked at every polling station or drop box whereas illegal immigrants are known for voting. All of the rest have the National Guard.
Until the SAVE Act passes, the POTUS is required to protect the citizens of the USA!!

Wouldn’t this help ensure a secure election?

Dems are gonna definitely scream cheating when they don't regain the house or Senate. Add in the media claiming over and over and over that the Dems will retake one or both, so when they do, they get to claim cheating. Of course they'll ignore the blatant irony. There will be calls for investigations and they will shove "proof" in every report. Rs better win in a "too big to rig" way ala the 2024 election.

I wish Marc Elias would meet me at Sonic.

Seems like just yesterday that even questioning whether elections could possibly be anything but 100% fair and square was 'a tHr34T t0 oUr d3M0cR4cY!!!!!!!!!'

Can you point me to the election when a Democrat was winning at the end of the night of the election and then days later more votes arrived and a Republican was certified as the winner?

Killary - 2016 election was stolen
quote:
Hillary Clinton is sticking with her conviction that the 2016 presidential election was not conducted legitimately, saying the details surrounding her loss are still unclear.
"There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level," Clinton said during an interview for the latest episode of The Atlantic's politics podcast, The Ticket. "We still don't know what really happened."
You were saying???

Are you against election integrity? And even if you see no reason for it, do you acknowledge that half the country is concerned? Do you recognize that over 80% of the citizenry want the SAFE Act passed?
Please answer so I know if you're a piece of shite or not.

More Democrat projection. They're actually guilty of the things they accuse Trump and Republicans of doing.

Were you around after the 2000 and 2004 Elections?
Democrats in Congress, the media, and especially boards like Democrat Underground were accusing Republicans, the Supreme Court, Diebold and the Bush "Crime Family" of rigging the elections.

"Instigated a violent insurrection" he says.
All that's come out about it being a setup (with minimal violence, if any) makes their cries invalid.
