Roy is not backing the Cheney and Bush families. He is backing her right to have her opinion. He is also saying if she is to be judged, she should be judged by her constituents. Which ultimately, she was.

No, that would be the guy who endorsed Graham, McCarthy, Romney, McDaniel, and Ryan to name a few.

He also hired John Bolton who is the epitome of the things they pretend to hate.

She participated in and spearheaded of an obviously politically based Jan 6 hearing in an attempt to try and keep Trump from running. There's manufactured evidence. There's destruction of evidence. There's outright lies. There's coordination with prosecuting attorneys to charge Trump.

Referring to this as "having an opinion" is ridiculous on its face and seeing you guys stoop so low as to defend Cheney says everything.

All of this happened after Chip Roy’s statement in the OP.

It is her opinion frickwad regardless of all those things you listed.

You don't like what she said, vote her out which is what happened.

Who in this thread is defending Cheney?

If you had the intelligence you keep telling everyone you have, at some point you would pause and consider how consistently wrong you are in these threads and conclude either you're not that smart or something/someone has you posting stupid shite in spite of your intelligence.

So you are saying an individual most go along with the majority or be punished?

This is not about Cheney. Quit trying to make it about Cheney.

I've just come to the acceptance that, like pretty much every other conservative politician in fricking history, Chip Roy has done some shite that I totally agree with and done some bullshite that I don't agree with at all.

Staying out of this one.

We've already proven that when we attempt to rally behind a new face, we end up with people like Sling Blade casting votes that affect us all. Sometimes the devil you know really is better than the devil you don't.

Chip Roy is one of the only politicians in DC worth a lick. He’s a solid guy.

I’m not pro-/anti- Trump, DeSantis, Ramaswamy, or anyone else running for POTUS, so I’m totally indifferent with regard to his support for DeSantis.

It sure seems to be rubbing Trump the wrong way, tho. No surprise I guess.

I disagree and can only base my opinion on my personal experience(s).

The list of sitting politicians—at all levels—who will ever receive support from me is obscenely short, but Roy makes the cut.

I know Trump supporters are now going to crucify Chip; that’s certainly their prerogative to do so. I just happen to break with their views in this instance.

It seemed obvious from Roy’s letter that he personally knew some of the people bringing accusations and thought they were trustworthy. Monday morning quarterbacking his letter without knowing anyone involved personally is operating from a deficit he does not have.

In every thread that has a Trump vs Desantis shite show occurring you'll generally see several PT Dims/Groomers partnering with Desantis supporters......it's just a fact.

Second time you’ve made that accusation, Grampa. Suck on a Werther’s and scream at a cloud about Social Security.
