This is more of Trump getting Chip back in line rather than trying to defeat him. Chip was dabbling a little too much in Bush and Cheney land.
AKA Roy endorsed DeSantis and is campaigning with him in Iowa.

It’s that simple. They’re trying their best to dress it up as something else. God bless them.

At any point in time Trump could’ve said this.
Just so happens that he puts it out the night that Roy joined DeSantis in Iowa.
It’s ridiculous.

So you’re saying Chip and Ron are Bush/Cheny aligned?

Should be easy to beat then.
Biden is a joke, was he easy to beat?
MAGA is a joke because it was transformed into the normal America Last party. Once Trump kicked in the door for McConnell, Ryan, McCarthy, McCain, Romney, Graham, etc... and did their bidding instead of what he ran on, the movement became a joke. Very few of his supporters cared and that's how and why Trump failed to deliver on his campaign promises.
You all claim to fight the establishment while your leader embraced them. Maybe it's sad more than funny.

The same goes for supporting Liz Cheney. It’s disqualifying.
How did he support Cheney?

Neither are, but that won’t stop you from pretending they are so you can make excuses for Trump.
You stopped caring about the truth a long time ago.

You are wrong about this and I can list them but I’m on my phone right now. Just to start with, no wars, judges-RvW and EPA v WV, taxes, borders, TPP, Paris Climate Accord, USMCA, etc.

Like Trump/Pence or Trump/Graham or Trump/Haley.

Read the OP.

What's conservative about backing the Cheney and Bush families? Just curious
Roy is not backing the Cheney and Bush families. He is backing her right to have her opinion. He is also saying if she is to be judged, she should be judged by her constituents. Which ultimately, she was.

I did. I guess I make a distinction between supporting someone's argument/idea and supporting their right to have one different than mine.
Do you really support primarying Chip Roy and Thomas Massie, Gumbo?

USMCA
Is NAFTA. It passed through the Pelosi lead House. Had very little objection from Democrats. Passed easily in both Canada and Mexico.

borders
A bunch of replacement fencing. But no mass deportations. No permanent border solution like a wall. Which I think was his primary campaign promise.
Some of that I won't disagree with. But he ran on building a wall, draining the swamp, repealing Obamacare, replacing NAFTA (not with a new name) and mass deportation of illegals. He failed to deliver on all of that.

No.
I posted what I thought was happening here a few posts prior.

That he's just trying to get these guys back in line.
Do you support Trump trying to get Thomas Massie back in line when the line is supporting spending trillions on Democrat causes?

A lot of people in another thread (you know who you are) were apoplectic over Trump calling Chip Roy out, a lot of people forget how Roy has sided with some D.C. Recucklican bull shite the past 2-3 years.

Based on actions/policies advocated for, what makes Chip Roy a "Recucklican" and Donald Trump not?
