I wonder if a better approach would be to hire some trial lawyers to investigate fraud and give them a cut of the fraud savings?

The DOJ has a new fraud enforcement division to handle it and thereby not relying on the states themselves who are doing some of the fraud. But its a great idea. I know he said these offices are focusing on the low hanging fruit because, A) there is so much of it on the local levels B) the large ones are very complex and involve a lot of international banking etc.

...you sure about that?

The Biden DOJ investigated and prosecuted the largest Somali Fraud Case in hisotry...in Minnesota, no less.
acashshualalllllly there was this one time...where the auto pen went after one particular scammer..I mean there's only thousands and thousands of people doing the exact same thing in every blue state you can't expect those 87,000 agents to find more than one or 2.

Leftards touting Biden's efforts to combat fraud is borderline insane.

What I remember is leftists making death threats against DOGE. The left has fought this every step of the way.

They were busy finding $100 that was supposedly misplaced on my tax return and then losing my filed tax return two years later, but not losing the the payment they received.

The only reason they were prosecuted is because they quit funneling the money back to Democrat politicians. As soon as they quit paying into their campain funds it was time to send a message. Just like a street level drug dealer who stiffs his supplier. Got to make examples to keep everyone in line.

Maybe, but my first thought is to invoke NCIS Agent Leroy Gibbs' rule # 13, "Never, ever involve lawyers."

Just like Biden and the Democrats ignored mass fraud of tax payer funds in Minneapolis, California, NYC etc etc etc... for years, and still are.
