What are you even trying to say here?

He isn't even correct. The Bible clearly talks about hybrids and beings other than humans.

And he knows this. He is in an awkward position trying to manage being both an atheist and someone who stands opposed to any and all "conspiracy theories." In order to deny that the "conspiracy theory" of aliens/UFOs in the Bible, he has to argue for spiritual beings like Angels instead. He has to argue for straight up magic (ethereal beings becoming flesh and bone to create hybrid races) and then deny that the hybrid races existed.

As usual, his logic is an abject fail all around.

The whole thing sounds stupid. But that is what this board does.

Do you believe that your concept of Christianity can survive an alien race having the real Jesus/son of God, and the one here being an imposter?

I believe you have a very poor concept of Christian's perceptions on their faith.

If you're familiar with reddit... sometimes posts get "randomized" with word salad- I'm not sure why it does, but anyway, that's what your post reads like. Randomized world salad.

The problem with most people today is that they do not read classics. this idea of how Christianity will be affected by aliens has been written about and discussed for over 100 years. CS Lewis has a famous writing about this.

This is nothing new

No, they're not. Angels do not procreate

The f$&k they don’t?! It literally mentions angels procreating with human women in Genesis 6! Their descendants are even given a name: Nephilim.

Like everything else in our modern culture, anything with huge build up is going to land flat

- I'm sure the US has UFO/unexplained stuff they've held back from the public we'd all find very fun and interesting

- I'm likewise sure none if is going to conclusively show or prove anything regarding life elsewhere

As someone who grew up Baptist, read the book of Enoch, and has a hobby of conspiracy theories I have my own theories on this. I'm not in belief of any of these but these are fun theories to game out in your head.

1) Genesis talks about hybrid people in pre deluvian times. These could be fallen angels or allies of Satan that came to Earth and bred with humans. These fallen angels could still be around and are what we have "seen" as aliens/UFO.

2) God could be a member of another species that "planted" us on Earth. We could be a zoo or a planet seeding experiment.

3) There could be a species that planted or found Earth and there is a battle to turn us "Good" or "Evil" which is the whole premise of Christianity. Anything of God is good, anything not of God is evil. We could be the battlefield of an extra terrestrial/ inter denominational/plane battle. Our souls could be the currency.

4) UFOs could be us from the future. We destroyed our planet and our future humans are coming back to see the point in which there was no return in hopes to turn the tide.

5) There could be more dimension that we can't perceive. There have been other species in other dimensions here on Earth that have been here longer than us and much more advanced that have the ability to come to our dimension at will but we are stuck in this dimension.

6)Earth has catastrophic events on a regular basis. There could have been a thriving global civilization millions of years ago. 99.9% of the population was wiped out by a world ending event. Maybe the survivors ended up underground or in the depths of the ocean and have been watching civilization progress without interference.

7) A civilization was on another planet (maybe Mars). It was uninhabitable at some point so they moved to Earth. Maybe they sped up the evolution of some species that created humans. Then they died out of went into another dimension, underground, in the ocean, another planet and left us to our own devices.

These are just theories that are fun to play around with but a lot of these would cut deep into religion and passages would have to be reevaluated.

Now, before everyone freaks out about this and starts quoting from the Book of Revelation, let me correct the Daily Mail. These disclosures are not going to literally change the words of the Bible. Your Bible will remain accurate. Instead, these disclosures will force people to take another look at the context of the words within the Bible. There is a difference.

Anyways, this appears to have been a real meeting.

There are no aliens, these are Demonic beings, and they are probably just making people see what is not there on alien like ships.

Why the deception? Well, I think its a double deception, like a double spy, there is no such thing as a disappearing church, people don't just fly away or vanish, when Jesus calls us home, it is only our spirit man that goes to be with Jesus, or flesh and blood CANNOT ENTER Heaven so says 1 Cor. 15:50. So, we simply leave our body, which of course dies without the spirit. It never says we do not die per se, it says we will never sleep, in the grave. So, whilst these men are looking for aliens, think of COVID 19 as the forerunner op. They will blame these silly Christians who refuse to be Vaxxed, on this "plague".

This is literally what we are talking about. And again, no they don't. Angels are not flesh and blood beings. Fallen angels? Otherwise known as demons. Demons are not flesh and blood. This is why they have to possess humans rather than use corporeal bodies to carry out deeds themselves.

The Genesis 6 "Sons of God" are a species closely related to humans, but not human. Close enough that the two could procreate and whose offspring showed signs of "hybrid vigor" (giganticism). Not angels.

Again, this is precisely why the meeting in the OP was necessary. Not that the Bible is inaccurate, but that people need to take another look at its context.

In understanding Scripture, the context is everything. If new truths revealed cause pre understanding to become reunderstanding then God's will is accomplished.

Believe/belief in the Hebrew and Greek refers to " rely on, or depend on" not to think it is true" or "to know it is true". Satan and his angels chose Their own Perfection and Legalism over Holiness filled with Mercy. that is why he is "The Accuser" and is forever separated from God.

Aliens/watchers/angels/ powers and principalities, the correct term doesn't matter. Relying on Christ to shepherd me through whatever comes is my religion.

Of course.

It fits in perfectly with The Rules.

The Rules of conspiracy populism are thus:

1. If there's no evidence for it from any reputable mainstream sources, that means it's true, because "They" covered it up and kept it from mainstream sources.

2. If the evidence is 100% against it, that also means it's true, because clearly "They" planted the evidence.

Conspiracy populists will believe that the government and mainstream media lie about everything. There couldn't be a more open and shut case about who shot Charlie Kirk, but they are convinced that everybody is lying about it.

Unless the government strategically leaks "classified" information or Trump occasionally makes cryptic offhand remarks that are obvious trolls regarding aliens. Then they're telling the truth. Then there's no chance it's a CIA plot to manipulate the easily influenced. No matter that this has been going on for close to 100 years now and we've neither seen an alien or any "reverse-engineered" alien technology, which would ostensibly allow the United States to easily dominate the world in terms of military capability.

Never mind that whatever that technology is, it could ostensibly have easily won WWII without having to use nukes. Or Korea. or Vietnam. It could have rendered the Cuban Missile Crisis harmless. Etc., etc.

No, it's much more likely that we've had that technology since the Roswell crash in the 40s, we have aliens in a cell 4 miles underground somewhere, and we've just kept completely mum about it for 85 years.

Until now.

And now we're going to have a reveal.

Any day now.

Any day...

You're not stating the argument correctly.

It doesn't disprove that a god can exist, or even, theoretically, the Christian god. It does make the Bible a major issue, though, and opens up the door for justifications for religions like Islam and Mormonism, because, effectively, lots of important stuff apparently can be left out of the Bible.

The Bible is a letter written to us, not a blueprint of everything God ever made. It’s like a parent talking to their child, they don’t explain their whole career; they just tell the kid what they need to know to grow up right. In John 10:16, when Jesus says, "I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold," he’s basically admitting he’s got things going on that we aren't part of. If we find out tomorrow there are aliens or demons, it doesn't change the instructions he gave us..

I know what that scripture is talking about other non-Jews, but it shows God has other things going on outside of view.
