Exactly. My tennis partner is Jewish. Her twins started college this year. One at UT in Austin and the other at Purdue. Both have called home this year after being verbally attacked by unhinged protestors pointing and screaming Jew. The daughter was chased down by a group of people screaming Jew at her.

This is why... 78% of Mexicans are Catholic. Another 11% are Protestant/Evangelical.

That's 89% of the population that are Christian.

Less than two tenths of 1% are Jewish. Google lumps Jews with Jehovah's Witnesses and Muslims for 0.2%.

I have a very hard time believing a Jew was elected by an overwhelmingly Christian nation without some sort of shenanigans going on.

If she were Catholic, would people who assert "She is a Jew," expect her to act differently regarding the cartels?

She’s acting cartel-ly. I think the inference is that with such an oddity of a Jewish president in an overwhelmingly catholic country given the population numbers, that maybe she was installed by the cartels.

You cannot claim that anti Jewish rhetoric is primarily from one party when there is obvious, recent evidence of very vocal and broadcasted demonstrations by the other party.

Anti-Israel rhetoric=/= anti-Jewish rhetoric

All those videos that were curated to claim that people were attacking Jewish people ignored that you were dealing with pro Israel and pro Palestine protests. If those Jewish people supported Palestine, those videos never get made (and curated)

Of course. This question makes me think you are incredibly dull.

I was just trying to understand your perspective. Thanks for clarifying.

Yep most people arent bright enough to separate the issues, and generically blame all jews.

Its just another reason for violent people to act on their true feelings. In all honesty, it makes some people want to support Israel even more.

It's interesting if nothing else, disproportionate representation is always brought up by the left as it concerns white, AA, hispanic, asian, indians etc.

But never as it concerns the ratio of jewish disproportinate representation in government.

OK but you're very obviously starting with a jaded opinion so let's not pretend like you're just learning here. Respect people enough to be open about where you stand.

You need to take that up with the specific protests and protesters who targeted Jews.

I suspect Slow will quietly abandon his poorly though out arguments in this thread. No shot he doubles down on purely ignorant opinions. Absolutely none.

She was elected because the former president (Amlo) endorsed her, it is that simple.
Amlo was very popular and his word carried a lot of weight with mexicans.

Exactly. I’m talking about anti Jewish attacks and not anti Israel attacks. If it was against Israel and not the people, why tear down the posters of missing Jews after the attack? Why the campaign to deny what happened there until the videos were released?

Again, you quoted me saying that anti Jewish rhetoric wasn’t isolated to a particular party. What about that specific statement do you disagree with?

Thanks, Pimp. To me that didn't seem to be the implication from a one sentence assertion, "She's a jew." But, your point makes sense.

It made me think of Ukraine and Zelenskyy being SELECTED by something other than an organic process given the miniscule Jewish population of Ukraine....

"With Christianity in Ukraine overwhelmingly predominant, representative statistical samples of the population surveyed by KIIS in 2020, 2021, and 2022 reported 0% of respondents identifying with Judaism and Islam. An older survey by the Razumkov Center in 2018 estimated Jews in Ukraine at 0.4% of the population."

Bingo.

Any my tennis partner voted Republican this election for the first time in the history of her family. So did her mom. She now says that liberal Jewish people vote dangerously against their own self interest.

It’s not at all an odd situation that a country that is feverishly catholic vote a Jewish person in that showed no actual interest by majority of people voting. I mean although she was proven to have ties to the cartels and endlessly backing regulations that protect them surely has no bearing whatsoever on her announced religion.

Saying she’s a Jew with no other context doesn’t exactly narrow it down. But maybe you should go to the thread and ask this question?
