Recession appears to be in our near future.

There was discussion by the Fed chairman saying that it appears that no matter what the Fed does…. it won’t stop the coming recession.
Question: If a recession is headed our way…. how “recession proof” is your job? Will your employment be safe …or …will you likely be let go?
Has there been a more disastrous presidency than the current one? We have a War in Europe, recession, inflation out the wazoo, gas prices getting higher and higher, North Korea is playing with rockets again, our southern border is wide open. all kinds of shortages, etc, etc. We appear to be in deep shat. /smdh
All this because of mean tweets, too much drama, etc.?

It’s bad and it’s going to get much worse. I don’t know if the coming recession will be like the so called “great recession” but many folks will lose their jobs. Along with that comes much more bad shat.

My job is as recession proof as it gets. If some some reason they do a cutback in military then I would just be retired. In that case I'm still good. Have saved and payed off all debt. Just gotta hunt and gather for whatever I require to eat

I wouldn’t say 100% recession proof, but close to it. Actually since we can self finance our projects, a recession may help my employment chances since more costumers may seek out services.

This is the result when you put idealistic losers whose ideals aren't rooted in reality in charge on a basis of everything except merit and ability.
Joe Biden has been a completely inept, lying buffoon for over 50 years in Congress. Everyone over the age of 35 knew that. That INCLUDES Democrats. Yet, they needed him as their Trojan Horse because none of the collection of other misfit toys could actually convince a large enough number of people to vote for them.
So now the US is stuck with a absent figure-head as POTUS who, because of his advanced age, is an even dumber version of himself. A POTUS who is not actually making ANY decisions on anything. In fact, he may be the person most out of the loop with what is going on at the White House. That means the people actually making policy decisions are power hungry leftist whose only mission in life is to destroy the way of life of anyone who opposes them. They don't have any core principles other than to destroy their opponents. That is why they will turn on the largest producer of EV's (Musk/Tesla); Bemoan the loss of special tax treatment of a mega-corporation (Disney) and cheer for war (Russia/Ukraine) despite all of those ideal being everything they hated 5 minutes ago.
The most poignant thing Trump acknowledged in his presidency was leftist didn't hate him...they hated those who supported his positions. Trump was just in the way of them getting to you. So they don't really give a shite if the country is in a bad place (it isn't for the Democrats in charge)...as long as YOU are hurting
