The president has a right to have people in his administration who will promote his agenda and world view. These three people clearly demonstrated that they cannot do this. One of them directly testified that he felt the President should abide by HIS foreign policy world view, which is constitutionally incorrect. There was nothing wrong with these firings for cause.
He didn't fire them because they caught him banging a hooker and reported it. He fired them because they are incapable of carrying out his foreign policy, which is quite literally their job.

Also, one of them actually confessed to leaking classified information to parties who did not have the authorization or need to know the classified information (unless the "need" was impeachment)

Back when we got all of the Strokz and Page texts one of them was talking about a foreign born "firewall" that they have in the White House. They said that the results would be disastrous if he were found out and removed.

If Vindman takes his seat at the War College this fall, it will mean that no adverse action was taken against him.
Student selectees for the War College can be removed from the selectee list for recent misconduct not covered under the officer eval period that merited selection.
I agree with the poster who characterizes this as a mere "re-assignment" and not any kind of adverse disciplinary action. I think Vindman takes his seat at the War College later this year.
