If a vacancy occurs near the end of Trump's term I think he should nominate himself.

he needs a pretty long short list, if I was him I would push for Robert, Thomas, and Alito to all retire and replace with younger judges.
Sotomayor is not doing well, should have retired under Biden. However is something unfortunate happens to her I think the dems will either stall any way possible (probably with Collins or Murkowski joining them) or threaten to expand the court
