What MSM?

I just turned 40 a few months ago. I haven't had cable in like 10+ years. I don't watch TV. I'm not a boomer tuned into CNN and FoxNews 24/7.

I can gather all the news I need on the weather report. (iykyk)

the american people have a disdain for Washington as a whole...

his RCP average is actually better now than it was on December 17th 2017

was 55.7 Disapprove/42,7 approve. -13%

His RCP average today 53.5 D/43.4 A or -10.1%

go look at past presidents......

I would venture a guess that Donald Trump, or anyone on the political right for that matter, could hand out free ice cream to the country, end cancer and be revealed to literally be Santa Claus and you, along with white women like you still wouldn't like them.

Let's just be real for a second, over 40% of registered democrats are white women. The consistent number 1 issue among that demographic is abortion access. Most of y'all will never approve of a republican because y'all love killing your offspring too much.

Rasmussen actually tends to lean more pro-GOP in its polling than vast majority of polls out there. In the 2024 Race, they had Trump winning the popular vote by more than what these other polls had.

When was the last poll that was actually accurate?

Exactly!! The data is way too easy to manipulate to get the result you desire to drive whatever narrative you want.

Want to make Trump look bad? Poll Oregon and DC

Want to make Trump look good? Poll Florida and Texas.

Of course, it would take intelligence to be able to discern this truth, and the OP ran with what she thought was a “gotcha moment.”

Ask the right group of TDS infected libtards and you'll get the results you want....

This is the correct answer.

As others have pointed out, in recent history, 2nd term Presidents typically start to lose favorability with voters fairly quickly into that 2nd term, which lends itself to the opposition party gaining control of Congress.

42% Strongly Disapprove
30% Strongly Approve

I was told the other night we were breaking records. The best ever. Why are people mad?

Cosmo, the implications are much more dire than that. Typically when a President, at this point in his term, is that unpopular, the midterms are a disaster and his next two years are bad for his agenda. Maybe Trump will recover. I know his strategy is that the tax cuts will yield big refunds starting in May, and this will stimulate the economy. So at least there is a plan. But if the plan doesn’t work there will be bad results, maybe including impeachment and conviction.

The pollster Mark Mitchell for Rasmussen has been screaming on X the last 6 months (along with Rich Baris, Big Data Polling) were Trump needs to focus his attention but the administration refuses to listen. It's Gen Z and independents.
