Dickerson is from a generation where everyone was proud to be American first and foremost. I was raised as a Kennedy Democrat and was always proud to be American. I just thought I disagreed with Republicans on not necessarily the goal, but how to get there.
That has died in today's world. I formally left the Democratic Party in 2016 and registered Independent. And I'm now a staunch conservative that has fully renounced what Establishment Dims have become and where they've taken my former party. But I'm not a Republican either, because the majority of them are just as bad as Dims, and only a handful of them are staunch conservatives like myself.
We have an opportunity to get some changes made now, before we all start dying off in 20-30 years. I hope we find a way, because if it's left to Millennials and GenZ, we're finished. There's some promise in late GenZ and Gen Alpha, but they'll be trying to overcome 20 years of what Millennials will have done to them.
