they were going to work together as a team and make things happen because the American ppl elected Trump to then only do the opposite?

Probably the increased spending they do not want.

I thought it was the pork in that bill he doesn't want to fund. He wants a bill just for border security only, from my understanding.

So why hasn’t he drafted a separate bill? Or is Congress going to rely on Trump for all the spending? Who controls the purse and has let it go under multiple presidents?

I’ve generally always liked the things Rand has spoken to but I am also beginning to recognize Rand’s in a pretty sweet spot politically with always being the “problem identifier” without ever having to take on the responsibilities and tasks of being the “problem solver”.

It is a hell of a lot easier to create/add to/fund new government programs than to get rid of them.

Rand actually wants to get rid of them. He has a harder road.

Well to be fair fauchi got a blanket federal pardon

Wouldn’t apply to state prosecution and if he were hauled in front of a judiciary committee for hearings and plead the fifth my understanding is that it would impact his pardon.

A single Senator isn’t really capable of enacting change.

turns out there was more to the story between rand and the neighbor. paul is 5'6" by the way i had no idea he was as short as that.

the neighborhood is a small gated community were everybody pays $150 for yard maintenance everybody but paul who insist on cutting his own grass consistently scalps his yard and blows his clippings into his neighbors yard for the last 10 years. typical libtardtarian "i can do anything i want in my yard, i'm gonna get around to fixin that truck eventually." the final spark was paul trimmed his hedges and left the lose trimmings in front of his property right next to the neighbors yard where the wind would most likely take them! problem solved!

There is only one libertarian running a country right now and he is kicking butt.

I just understand what they expect. I agree with most of their views but you can’t pass an ideologically pure bill in the U.S.

Instead of whining and voting no on a bill that takes a step in the right direction why not pick one area that’s most important to them and push to get that area resolved in order to be a yes vote. Swallow the bitter pill on the items you don’t like understanding that people with different viewpoints may want those items in the bill and you can’t have everything your way

Isn't standing alone for what you believe in "showing leadership"?

No, it's not. Leaders work to bring people over to their side, neither does that. And if you can't get it done in Congress, go do it some other way. Lots of people outside of government have built effective movements around specific issues (christopher Rufo, Charlie Kirk, et al). These two are grandstanding assholes and I'm sick of them. Either do something or STFU already.
