Eh, they want their five minutes of fame... the one's posting this crap to Facebook, it is all they are looking for...

We will agree to disagree.
A lot of docs (not all) actually went in to the field to actually try and save lives.

I used to sell pharma. I had one doc tell me she treated her hard to treat allergy patients by having them grind up singulair and inhale it. If a drug was too expensive for the patient, she would tell them to take it every other day. She was an MD PhD.

If there's one thing I know about Americans, it's that they don't like being told what to do. Especially, if you use fear tactics.
Give people all the information. Not just cherry-picking some stats and saying, "I'm a doctor. You should trust me."
If someone calls you about a sick patient, the first thing you ask for is, what are the vitals, what meds are they on, etc. You need to know what's going on beyond, "He's sick, Doc." Yeah, no shite he's sick. Why is he sick? What else is going on with this person that may have contributed to his problem?
So let's hear it. What else is going on with those 30-50 year olds? What is their medical history? What medications are they on? Let's see some real data. Not just the shite you think will scare me.

HIPPA doesn’t allow that.

This just happened in India...it makes zero sense.
This was from a June 8th.
Tons of evidence to support its use and yet the WHO pretty much demanded that it be removed from therapeutic measures.
Again, this makes no sense.

India’s Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has executed a policy reversal that could have massive implications for the battle against covid-19, not only in India but around the world. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives, could be at stake. The health regulator has overhauled its COVID-19 treatment guidelines and removed almost all of the repurposed medicines it had previously recommended for treating asymptomatic and mild cases. They include the antibiotic doxycycline, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, ivermectin and even multivitamins.
quote:
The DGHS began recommending the widespread use of ivermectin as early as April, in direct contradiction of the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Treatment packs were assembled in many states and distributed to patients testing positive for Covid. In at least two states — Goa and Uttarakhand — the medicine was distributed as a preventive. As has already happened in over 20 countries where ivermectin has been used
quote:
“When we started seeing more cases, we decided to take up a door-to-door survey,” Bagalkot District Health Officer Dr Ananth Desai told New India Express. “When the health officials noticed people with symptoms during the survey, they tested them immediately and provided them with home isolation kits, which had medicines like Ivermectin, calcium and zinc tablets along with paracetamol. We advised the patients to start with the medication even before their Covid-19 test results came out. With these measures, we noticed that many patients recovered faster. This helped in increasing the recovery rate”.

Don't attach names or identifying information to the data. It's awfully convenient to be able to claim, protecting patient's rights, when they want to trample on the rights of every citizen.

I agree. Why didn't he say the name of the hospital? This is dumb cut and paste shite.
He is at Baton Rogue General Hospital, it says so right in the thread starting post.

Yet we knew original covid was bad for people with comorbidities.
They can give us data by not revealing an individuals personal medical records. You know this, you’re just being stupid.

Of course not. HIPAA doesn’t prevent LDH from releasing vaccinated hospitalization data. But they’re not releasing it.

Did you read the article that I linked on the front page? Do you honestly believe that Dr is not looking for her 4 minutes of fame?
Do you believe the bullshite platitudes she was spewing?

Doesn't that defeat their purpose?
If they gave you the truth, chances are you're not going to do what they want you to do.

I had a data driven discussion with an allergist last fall. After I listed a bunch of data points, she said “that’s a lot of numbers. I think we’re just safer wearing a mask and social distancing.”
