At best, it lets' those that may be exposed, start building their alibies. At worst, the dems did doctor the files, and nowTrump/Vance/your mom, anyone the dems want to destroy is now latched onto by the media. Now, you and I may be able to see through it but the VAST MAJORITY of news consumers aren't' smart enough to discern what's bullshite and what isn't. And maybe that's just enough for the left to takeover in 2028. Congratulations, you just played yourself.
Or, now hear me out, we let the investigation run it's course and if they say nothing is there, then we demand to see the investigation.

I think you are right. No matter what comes out, people wont drop the obsession. I think they understand the shitstorm they'll start when they drop a years-long trove of documents filled with various names - names of mostly innocent people and no real evidence to implicate those people. This may be an effort to taint the drop, giving them an excuse to forgo prosecutions and hopefully avoid being sued into oblivion by the finest lawyers on the planet.

I think the purpose of the plant would be to claim that Trump himself released the documents, so they couldn't be blamed for it. If they planted evidence in the files and then released it, Trump would claim it's a hoax and everyone would believe it. But if Trump is the one who releases the hoax?

What investigation is that?? The corrupt DOJ and FBI have had years to investigate. That’s the problem. It’s a global cabal and the elites are running interference. How is it that only two people have been charged on this??

I think he could have been around when something happened. Not anything to make him liable in any way or even him having direct knowledge, but just enough to permit a terrible implication/association to run wild.
