Gotcha on the international part.
That said, after spending alot of time in Europe, I realized how much in America is not taken advantage of by not visiting places inside the US

Nah, it’s the politicians that allow the cartels to operate so they get paid.
You will never eliminate the cartels if you don’t eliminate the politicians.

Is the cartel going to snuff out Gloria Sheinbaum?
She was the only candidate not snuffed out leading up to the election.

This is nuts. Our ship just left Cozumel yesterday afternoon. Prayers for anyone affected and hope there’s a way to destroy the cartels forever and save our citizens.

My dad and 4-5 buddies used to go dove hunting south of Matamoros 15 years ago. Ranch owner was a gringo that married a wealthy Mexican woman. They were about to leave to go on another trip and the guy that owned the ranch called said not to come. The cartel killed all the local politicians and put their heads on spikes in the center of town as a warning not to cross them.

the place where you want to send all of those here back to from the US
The definition of illegal doesn't change just because your dicksucker says so.

What are your flight details for tomorrow looking like? The same fly today going out per the airlines site?
We are supposed to fly out tomorrow 3, SW. All public transit including Taxi's and Uber are shut down though so we couldn't make it to the airport if it was even open.

When I first started going to the "Beaches" in Cancun it was almost entirely undeveloped and barely had electricity. Round trip from New Orleans was $99. Rent a Jeep for $11 a day. By the year 2000 I had been over 15x and had entirely explored, dove, camped, trekked the entire Yucatan Gulf Coast.
There was absolutely nothing between Cancun & Playa del Carmel. P del C had perhaps more Monkeys than people with a population of about 65 souls & 1 small Hotel. Tulum had 0 - n o t h i n g! While exploring Tulum & Coba I "had" to sleep on the beach just south of the Ruin. Before sunset a local Mayan would show up and I would give him a few pesos to string my hammock up between Palm Trees that he had screwed hooks into. He would build a fire between limestone rocks and grill the Lobster I had caught earlier that day. It was H E A V E N - Back Then!
I KNOW Mexico and have travelled, stayed (practically lived) in every State....from Coast to Coast & into Guatemala. I started importing all types of products - art, stone, antiques, furniture, etc. & still do so occasionally. BUT I WILL NOT, HAVE NOT GONE BACK FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS!
** Not even my suppliers, who are Mexicans, will travel via car between towns/states! And NEVER @ night! **
It is NOT SAFE - for ANYONE - ANYWHERE, but especially not for Gringos! The Mexican Mindset (Aztec, Mayan) is very crafty & creative. They HAVE to be. Americans, especially today, don't need to and they can be oh so easily caught off guard.....totally surprised, utterly unaware of what they are "walking into".
It absolutely amazes me how so many Americans allow themselves to be utterly censored and develop "tunnel vision" by their limited, select "woke" Mainstream & Social Media sources/choices! Whether by "Covid" or other liberal talking points they literally risk their very lives. No one can claim ignorance today, for It is too easy, simple to research, get, obtain a wide/broad perspective from various independent sources via the interwebs.
I L O V E Mexico & MISS IT Dearly. I Loved the People, Food, Lifestyle & Culture. I pray for the simple, humble people of Mexico - they have suffered their corrupt Government & Cartels too long!

Which resort? I've been to Garza Blanca 5 times there. It's amazing. I felt safer in Puerto Vallarta than New Orleans. Hopefully, this will pass. Mexico can't afford to lose their tourists.

I got food poisoning in 2017 on my honeymoon and had to go to the hospital. Ended up costing around 1500. Luckily I had the money. But what they do is if you're there for less than 24 hrs they refuse any insurance you have.
I was active duty at the time. Problem is I've always had a weak stomach so I thought nothing of it.

Recently went to a wedding in the Yucatan. Stayed a few days. No problems. Discussed with the wife whether it is a second or third world country. It's as third world country. But the entire time I was there I wondered if the cartels had permeated throughout this part of Mexico, supposedly the safest.
Did notice the Uber drivers listened to a lot of American music.
