Not sure. They were releasing the data on the percentage of employees who have been vaccinated up until a week or so ago. Last update was around 60-70% were vaccinated.

The CEO said he thinks people will ultimately comply rather than lose their job, and cited the Texas hospital where only like 150 employees were fired for not getting the vaccine.

The CMIO did send a rather odd system-wide email yesterday though. Pretty much listed every hospital that now requires the vaccine for employment in our area of the state. I read it as a way of him telling people that if they leave our company, the next job they apply for will require it as well, so might as well get it and stay put.

I'm applying for other jobs. Unless I can find someone willing to not and document that they did, if you know what I mean.

Oh I know what you mean. Wish I could help. I’ll probably be given notice at some point as I do LTC facility consulting. Already got it and was like “oh yeah” and they rescinded it when they realized they had no back up plan for my position.

I’m in a spot though where I have the option to be let go and be ok financially. Sweet spot in life at this moment in that regard.

Company asked us to answer a vaccination survey
Vaccinated/at least 1 shot
Not Vaxxed
None of your business

Magically we were 75% vaccinated.

We're government contractors, and not a small company.
Haven't been required to get vaxxed.

None at this time.
No way I can see our company mandating
They can't find enough employees as it is.
No, this isn't a fast food restaurant.

I work for a state government in the midwest. The governor is firmly against mandates, so the most we've gotten is "we encourage you to talk to your doctor about it."

Same. Before the mandate they asked us to designate our vaccine status on our HR profile. I just ignored it.

Massive multinational corporation. Non American owned.

No mandate.

Masks are encouraged based on your feelings.

Vaccine is encouraged.

Our business unit is under 20% vaccinated according to self reporting. I expect they won’t do shite.

ETA: medical and religious exemptions will be provided if it becomes mandated. I’ve been told it’s as simple as click a button to get the exemption. I believe it because you were encouraged, but not required to upload proof of vaccination when you selected ‘vaccinated’.

Simply put, it’ll be too fricking expensive for the company to replace the folks that are unvaccinated.

AND how do they distinguish those who are and who aren’t? Meaning did you to let them know/fill form out or is it honor system?

Work for a Fortune 50 corporation with a fair amount of unionization between 2 different unions. I’m thinking we haven’t heard shite because the union lawyers and corporate lawyers are trying to work out some type of agreement that doesn’t show any preferential treatment.

1. Attest to your vaccine status.
2. Fire those vaccinated.
3. Ask the rest who they voted for in November.
4. Fire the xiden voters.

1. Vaccinated by 10/11
2. Medical Exception
3. Religious Exception
4. Termination

* 2 & 3 Require Working From Home

I Went With #3 And Got Approved. My Second Choice Was #4.

Privately held company, all employees are highly educated and rational, and are therefore vaccinated.
