There might be some hope on the horizon.

My company said they’d wait for the details to come out from OSHA before acting. Said it could be a few weeks or months.

Wife and I own the business. Being self employed is glorious for so many reasons!

Currently no shot is required. However if we are working for a client that requires the shot we have to abide by the clients demands.

Currently I work for clients that require their employees to get vaxxed but I do not have to make site visits.

I hear rumblings that the requirement will be mandated vaccinations or monthly testing and they will follow CDC guidelines. I'm concerned that CDC guidelines will not have the testing option. I'm cool with the monthly testing but I'm not cool with being forced vaxxed.

I sure wish they would take antibodies into account. I'm surrounded by COVID infected people and continue to test negative. I strongly suspect I have antibodies. I need to get tested.

If they pass that for the armed services employees may also offer that as an option.

It totally makes scientific sense.

But Biden said OSHA would require weekly testing?

Must be fully vaccinated by November 22, unless a medical or religious exemption is granted (this is done only if a "reasonable accommodation" can be offered, our FedGov agency isn't required to do so if it interferes with the "essential duties" of our position), otherwise we can be terminated.

I have my shots so I'm good. (I had more of a reaction to the first Shingrix dose)

My company has been curiously silent. However, I'm sitting here in our corporate HQ right now. We used to have 300 employees here. Currently, it's me and one other guy. He's from Brazil and training so he has no way to work from the hotel.

My choices are work from home (alone) or work in the office (alone). Not sure how much more of this shite I can take.
