There was talk of arming Kurdish and other fighters in the northwest. This may be ongoing and fact that Rubio sorta sidestepped the question leads me to believe there may be an insurgency from them in short order.

The IRGC is convinced that the USA is flaccid and weak and has absolutely no stomach for a fight inside Iran to topple the IRGC.
I believe that this War is over. There will be no more strikes against Iran, no matter what Iran does or doesn' t do. Iran won't make a deal. They will stall. They strongly believe that this War is over and they have survived AND will survive, because they believe that the USA is weak.

I believe the reason is that if it is a prolonged fight, Trump needs congressional approval.
If they are a series of separate skirmishes, he can side-step.

Turkey, Syria, and Iraq don’t want their Kurd populations getting any ideas about sovereignty either. They surely won’t support arming the Iranian Kurds
