You don’t understand why a law abiding citizens would not want to be accused of arson, attempted murder/murder and insurance fraud?
Why would the law abiding homeowning citizen even be suspect? They could just pour gas on it light it and accuse the squatters.

...and those Portlanders will move to other states and vote for policies and people who caused them to leave Portland in the first place.

Love to see them move into Nancy's place and the dirtbag Govenor's place and not leave. Wonder how long it would take to get them out of there.

I’m betting local laws make it damn near impossible to remove them.
This is where you hire some baws and go in with clubs. Clean them out and run them out of the neighborhood. Then the baws disappear and you show up to your empty house. If queried you dindu noffin, and you don’t know noffin.

Hells Angels and White Supremist would be having a slumber party. They would be welcome to bring their favorite pit-bulls.

This is what happens when you don’t value private property

100% chance the property owner votes Dem.

Why would anyone choose a course of action that automatically draws so much attention, particularly if you just bought the house (a fixer-upper at that) at a steeply discounted price? This is guaranteed to attract police, arson investigators, and insurance companies who do not want to pay.
It’s best to handle it in a manner that gets as little attention as possible.
Why would they even suspect you? You are not living there. These ppl are living there illegally and trashing the place. It is very easy to slip in there and light a candle in a very dangerous place and then let nature takes course.

Wouldn’t it be within the owners legal rights to set off multiple bug bombs in the house and fumigate the crowd out then immediately change the locks?
Posted on 7/31/22 at 5:58 pm to Auburn1968
Probably impossible to remove them. They most likely can’t be evicted and they don’t have to pay rent or utilities, etc. Anyone who buys a house that has squatter, has more than likely thrown away the money.

Burn it down. They will leave

In Florida the solution is simple because you call the pest company and tell them you have a termite infestation and they will come tent your house and if the people wanna stay through that poison God bless em

Why is there such thing as “squatters’ rights” in the first place? And is there any evidence - even just one anecdote - of how squatters having said rights is a benefit to anyone? I don’t understand why this is a thing and why people are protected if they are trespassing on someone else’s property.
