Dawg, I think the answer lies in the fact that there is a concerted effort to have that one sin nullified.

There is no debate about the sinfulness of lying, cheating, stealing, adultery, etc. There is debate about homosexuality and homosexual acts.

The gays don't want to be told that what they do is sinful, and, in fact, many want the church to approve and glorify what they do.

That's where the pushback comes into play from from traditional Christians.

Somewhat agree. There’s absolutely debate about premarital sex though. And as Esquire pointed out, what about divorce? Unless it’s because of abuse or adultery I don’t believe divorce in the Church is supposed to occur, and if you remarry it’s considered adultery (unless maybe in the case of death).

I think it has to be addressed in the church, but I don’t think going out and yelling about how sinful it is helps anything.

I just listened to two of her songs. I don't think she could have had a professional career pre-1980. She just has no voice talent.

I had no idea who she is. So, after reading your post I listened to a youtube video of her singing. You're right. Her voice is awful. Judy Collins and Linda Rondstadt both had terrific voices.

In more modern times I really like the voice of that girl from the Cranberries.

Bible says it is a sin. That is not debatable.

Popular Christian Singer Lauren Daigle Not Sure If Homosexuality Is A Sin... by Music_City_Tiger

man, it's almost like she's living amongst people in the world, man. That's deep.

The good book says it's wrong! why?

the animals who do it naturally in the wild are going to hell too! of course, if animals could go to heaven.

This, of course, assumes that the Bible is the authority given by God and not just the work of man.

I have my doubts.

Church I go to still has baptist root and is part of the Acts 29 Network.

It definitely makes it aware that homosexuality is a sin, but it’s also not someone screaming from a pulpit that everyone is going to hell.

This is probably the wrong place to bring it up, and people may disagree, but I just think it’s kinda funny that a lot of people who question whether Daigle is a Christian believe that Trump is.

I’m not saying whether they are or aren’t because I don’t make the final decision, but someone questioning whether homosexuality is a sin and wrestling with that is a fair thing to do.

And at thinking she doesn’t have a good voice to whoever said that.

But people today don't like to hear that. So they justify it. That's cool. They are just taking an awful risk.

My Aussie ain't going to Heaven. He's been a bad boy for years. If he cured cancer and AIDS tomorrow he'd still have a tough time getting in.

I can't imagine that dismissing the rational-thought process for the sake of lock-step dogma is good for anyone.

Somebody that stands on a worldwide platform and performs in the name of the Christ should know what He says about sin is and how to deal with that situation. How else are we supposed to witness?

When they brought the woman caught in the act of adultery and threw her at Jesus feet. There were two things he said to her. One, He didn't condemn her. And two, go and sin NO more. It today world, His second statement would be viewed as judgemental.

All sin can be forgiven, except one. But a person has to realize it's a sin before even be able to receive forgiveness. I think that's the crux most Christians have with homosexuals is they don't believe the lifestyle is a sin.

Not sure why the downvotes, because this is right.
Just because one is married and is a heterosexual does not mean they are guilty of having sex with every person that is the same gender as their spouse. Having a natural desire or tendency toward something is not the same as actually committing that act.

I am sure there are people reading this that have interest, desires or urges daily to someone other than their spouse and do not act on them. I would think most people would not consider that attraction to be sin.

Then again you are some crazy people on here so....

Where in scripture is Christ quoted as declaring homosexuality a sin?
