This Pope will go down as a piece of trash. As far Muslims being brothers. They are our brothers in the sense that we are all human beings but you can say the same thing for Hitler, Jim Jones, Charles Manson or Jeffery Dahmer but any comparison ends there.

I’m not sure why you’re outraged the head of the religion that teaches to turn the other cheek is asking people to not immediately assume someone of another faith is a suicide bomber.

I think that the Pope - being a (supposed) servant of the 'Ideal' of Jesus exhortation to "love our enemies", as a means of countering Evil - is likely acting in this spirit. He'd be a blatant hypocrite, if in his Position, he acted counter to the "blessed are the peacemakers" axiom.
Of course, back when, the six shooter pistol was called a "peacemaker".
Assuming the Biblical/Theological Paradigm is valid, the Pope will be judged and rewarded just like the rest of us. Lord have mercy.

I agree with you that all of us would be wise to adopt the simple theology of "Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner".

Everyone on the planet is a brother or sister in Christ. If you believe the God of Abraham created the universe and that his son Jesus Christ is the Messiah then you must believe that we all are brothers and sisters in Christ.

It's time for the Catholic church to be shut down. It has caused more harm to women and children than all other churches combined in history plus the new pope is a little bitch.
