I can’t prove it but I’ve long suspected the late night shows were getting propped up via USAID with direct or advertising revenue in return for going full on DNC propaganda outlet.
The late night shows have been so blatantly Deep State/establishment propaganda for years now, especially since 2016. It's incredible.

Shouldn’t Jimmy be happy thinking his ratings will spike after the competition is canceled?
Jimmy may have the worst case of TDS in Hollywood.

Pocahontas and Schiff are crying out demanding that CBS explain themselves as to whether this firing was politically based. The fact that these two are concerned and speaking out shows that this guy was an important mouthpiece for the Dems to reach a large TV audience.

They won’t like it if CBS answers publicly: the USAID money dried up.

Imagine networks allowing their late night TV hosts becoming so hateful and divisive. These shows were always supposed to be light hearted and have broad general appeal.
They are now hyper political, hate filled niche shows.

Carson was a professional. The losers today wouldn’t be able to get an interview to be an assistant.

Jimmy's ratings are struggling and he had mentioned before this that he was worried that he might not sign another contract with ABC.
Now he really sees the writing on the wall. His bitch-arse is going to be extra bitchy and pre-butthurt now.

Maybe if they had emulated Carson and made jokes about both parties they would have an audience.

the only question is really why haven't the networks already stepped in and canceled these shows or at least tried to replace the host.
For the same reason Kimmel is upset that his direct competitor is being removed. They’re spreading the same propaganda, and that’s what’s important. Not ratings, not money.

You can take the L out of clock and it would likely be a true statement.

that's one way to get on your employers "good side". cussing them out after a co-worker is fired......

These late night shows have been in the tank for a while. Colbert is the least entertaining of them all. Kimmel won’t last long and will be doing unhinged shock jock podcasts in his basement. Fallon and SNL won’t have long after that. They’re all money pits and will probably get replaced with cheap reality TV game shows or re-runs from their “hit series”.

Poor little Jimmy Kimmel is butt hurt over Colbert cancellation.
Might want to avoiding bringing any attention to him because Colbert had the best viewership numbers of the three late night shows.

Absolutely! Carson gave them the formula and they are too damn stupid to use it. It’s always about the money. You can rest assured that the networks were getting money for keeping these mouthpieces on the air via some liberal outlet. Find someone that the public enjoys and split the barbs between the liberal, conservative viewpoints. Do it with class and you will be appreciated and watched
