Seems as though this tread got a little off track...but anyhow I think Oklahoma is going to beat Bama this weekend. While watching these two teams play a lot this year - I don't think Bama is good as they are perceived and Oklahoma isn't as bed as people think. No way would I recommend a bet, but this is just my two cents.

Here is my take. I don't care what people call me. I have a pretty solid set of beliefs that I have passed on to my kids. I see no need to have a label or need to vote for someone who mirrors all of my beliefs. I vote for the person who has similar beliefs or the lessor of two evils.

Is it better when the Legislative session is going on or cooler weather or LSU home game weekends? Or is it a total shiteshow...I used to enjoy it down there, but I have to admit it was a while back. Very sorry to hear this.

Would you really do that? Kind of weird in my opinion. I don't think people should be able to vote on who becomes their neighbors if they meet the financial requirements, age, and their criminal backgrounds are clean. But that's just me.

Everything posted so far is true...The second-winningest coach in school history, behind only Charlie McClendon. If holding us back you mean beating Alabama in Tuscaloosa and forced to play them again 1(3-1 that season). We should have played Oklahoma State who was the #2 team in the nation. Third smallest tv rated National championship game. The hate for Les after that game by fans is what made his final years seem worse than the actually were. O takes the pieces and wins another title, can't really we were held back.

I have hope! But I think rules changes are so lopsided that I fear great defenses will never allowed again in football...Safety for the players and lack of patience of the fans.

NCAA has a product that must be protected. The biggest stage: On national TV on a Broadcast channel is not a place to for treating a complete clown that is embarrassing the product with special treatment. If a coach can't control himself under that spotlight, he does not deserve de-escalation...rather he should not have acted the way he did - so I respectfully disagree with you and Chicken's opinion. It's not like we those two games were easy. (1-0 and 5-3) Hopefully, they were a pretty good team that made it too the finals. I think we beat a worthy opponent, not ready for prime time, but worthy :lol:
