Dewine ran against a female Democrat in 2022 and beat her by 25% (62-37). He badly outperformed Vance, who ran against a guy who voted with Biden 100% of the time, on the same ballot. I'm not a Dewine guy, but he was a good general election candidate. Vivek is not.

He did a lot to help get Trump elected so I thank him for that. I don't know enough about ohio politics to understand anything else about that race

Sort of like what happened in Florida. Although the Florida GOP didn't offer an official endorsement, the MAGA RINO's in the state endorsed Donalds and basically installed him as the candidate early on.
