Let’s say sure you hate trump
And disagreed 4 years ago ... you’ve had FOUR years to get the necessary documents ( free ID card or birth certificate or whatever they require ) to be able to show proof of ID to vote

ZERO excuses

They point to Florida as a major bright spot. Democrats lead Republicans in vote-by-mail requests 2.1 million to 1.4 million, according to a GOP consultant who is tracking the figures. At this same point in 2016, Democrats trailed Republicans in requests.

Florida might get interesting....

Dems do not have a 2.1m to 1.4m ballot request advantage in FL. That was for the primary.

The general is actually 1.21m to 865k. LINK

Still not good, though. In Oct 2016, GOP led in FL requests 981k to 941k. LINK

I’ve been saying this. People seem solely focused on the Midwest but Florida is going to be just as tight as the Midwest swing states.

How many are democrats voting republican?

This is actually a hope-inspiring question that is absolutely worth asking. How many African-Americans are sick of the Dems using the like whores and are ready to escape from the DNC plantation.

If I were black, and I heard Joe Biden say that if I didn’t vote for him, “you ain’t black!”... I would be counting the seconds until I could vote against him.

I don’t think 2016 is a fair comparison to 2020. In person voting is a polarizing issue much more so this go around. There was no controversy regarding this in 2016.

Left wing supporters who believe the COVID hype will want to vote by mail. Right wing supporters generally don’t believe the hype and don’t trust mail in voting and will vote in person.

I think you underestimate the negative stigma associated with being a Trump voter this time around also. Many people will privately choose Trump in the voting booth.

This is not abnormal at all.

Dems always have big leads on ballot requests

^^^This^^^

Happens every election year. The important word was "request."

Fine. OK. This is normal.

What dims are shitting themselves on is how many of those have not updated their party affiliation or have changed their mind re dims. Oh, and a nifty Joel Briden mask gif

Help me with this.

In 2018, when Florida Governor Scott sent his swarm of state police to Broward county to investigate all the voter fraud that the Republican were screaming and raising hell about, how many cases of voter fraud did they find?

"Who is They?"

Good question. The Dekalb County Council plans on sending every registered voter a request for an absentee ballot instead of just those who request one.

This makes it easy to request a ballot for someone else.

The Dems need to run a few ads on how Trump and Barr have been lying about Antifa in the protests, and also about white supremecists, who have been agitating the violence.

And if you think more Dems will switch than Republicans, you are dreaming a bad dream.

Its a Politico article, a dem mouthpiece.

They quote Targetsmart that is some fly by night organization operating out of a storefront in DC. Check their sight, one of their in depth findings....Latinos like ads in, in, you guessed it Spanish. Wow wonder how much that data cost.

Lastly, anyone "requesting" a ballot means its absentee. With absentee ballots, for example Alabama, you request, along with photo ID, bills showing your address, and your signature. They verify it, then send you a ballot.

Like everyone else, I want this bullshire of using the DMV or ancient voter rolls to helicopter out ballots to be challenged in court. Most think they could be abused when going out. i question if they go out at all. Be very easy to check the voter roll: lives in an apt address, has not voted in the past cycle or two, young, hispanic surname, pull that one, set it aside, fill it out yourself, "harvest it" and turn it in.

Exactly. Republicans would never win a presidential race without the democrat crossover votes.

That doesn’t mean they all are voting Democrat, but I suspect those requested were requested by someone other than the voter. There were probably a lot of requests by residents from nursing home, assisted living, group homes, and public housing.
