Is this the new protocol? Let's hope somebody pays a Saban accuser next.

I hope he sue’s every fricker involved. The woman, the school...anyone and everyone.

ETA: assuming he truely has done nothing wrong.

Sounds like a Hugh Freeze situation. Once they start looking at the phone records then all bets are off.

He's still getting his buyout, so I doubt that's a path forward for him.

Need to see some Petrino gifs before I decide on whether this is a decent firing strategy...

Dude slept with students at WVU, so it's not an unbelievable accusation.

Using Title 9 against coaches. No evidence, your still guilty.

There's more behind this....Rodriguez may have pissed in someones Cornflakes. Sexual harassment is now the catch all to get rid of someone.

Uh, future earnings from not being able to get a coaching job at a quality FBS school due to the stigma? I can't believe the presser even said it wasn't substantiated. Pure lunacy.

He's only 54. He's getting an 8-figure payday.

Remember when he was a rising star and was going to take over at Bama?

I think you guys are overlooking the “however, we did become aware of information...” part of that statement.

I stopped reading at "University's Office of Institutional Equity". Sounds like a socialist SJW group emboldened by university backing.

I'd sue the university for defamation. They even clearly say the allegations were unsubstantiated, yet release this bullshite anyways. I'd be livid if I were Rich Rod.

Truth is the ultimate defense to defamation. What part of the statement is not true?

This is the only way the madness will end.

Once men start suing for wrongful termination and the companies and organizations have to go to court and basically admit they fired him with no real proof or real investigation, the big payouts will stop this insanity.
