exactly

we have to fight back

right now, the way to do this is to get out and vote

Here is the enlightened right wing political discourse I was referring to.

When in doubt always attack the messenger. Never the message.

You aren't as bad as other contrarians but many here take an opposite position just to. What's the point of trying to counter that with discussion?

Then you have pseudo intellectuals like the Buckeye poster (forget his name) that simply post the emoticon when he is clearly owned as if the person that just shut him down isn't worth responding to.

This board can have some great discussions still but it has become a microcosm of the larger divide we see in the entire country and a lot of that starts with people like Maxine Waters and Pocahontas telling people to spit on conservatives and such.

Then why didn’t democrats bring that up instead of making up silly salacious tories?

Secular leftists worship progressive politics. They view people with different opinions as apostates. You and the SJW crowd don't see conservatives as human beings, so who cares if we falsely accuse a man bc he wants us to not be able to kill babies? That's the difference in progs and conservatives.

Ginsburg was a pure hard left wing activist cause litigator. I mean, they are coming out with a movie celebrating this fact.

Kavanaugh has basically been nothing but a bureaucratic lackey for his whole career.

Hopefully they will all reap what they sow one day but I doubt it as long as Republican continue to be pussies and not dish it back. Today signals more than ever that the swamp really does need to be drained and shame on anyone cheering for either side like it's a sports match. No one should be OK with what is happening and the way this has transpired.

Rule of Law and Equal Justice are dead too. And I know very intelligent people who are fine with it; of course they don't watch Fox News.

Slippery slope.

It's why Trump won.

And why they hate him. He puts a light on their fecklessness.

gtHog is one of the least-substantive posters on this forum.

He does little other than. cursing at posters with whom he is in disagreement.

pretty sure Kagan was never a judge before her nomination

before she was nominated solicitor general, she had never argued before a court before. a year later she was a USSC justice

I have seen a few great discussions here.

But most do their level best (with great success) to run off anyone who doesn't agree with them. Coincidentally they are the ones here complaining about those tactics on the national level.

We all use to be Americans...now we have divided into tribes...and you see that every day here.

That’s a silly request. Each is different.

What made Oliver Wendell Holmes great is not what made Scalia a strong jurist. Scalia suggested that the Democrats nominate Kegan. Why did he think she was worthy? There is no list.

Kavanaugh has spent much is his time as a political counsel in the White House. He has a partisan record of playing politics. Those folks are not usually in the best position to be independent, as the Supreme Court must be.

And the truth of the matter is that conservatives don't protest and destroy things like small children. We trust that our leaders will act according to our best interests and have jobs to go to.

Progressives have an army of lackeys to show up anytime anywhere to create chaos and draw attention.

So sick of these ploys that people take as authentic.

TBoy doesn’t have a message.

He says “RBG is a great candidate. That’s the difference.”

It’s a blatant lie. RBG was the most blatantly political appointee to the Supreme Court maybe ever.

Kavanaugh isn’t the Left’s cup of tea. But he’s not a political operative in a way RBG wasn’t.

You can’t have discourse with fundamentally incorrect and willfully fraudulent statements. Do you want to take a swing at this post? Or attack the messenger?
