We are already at war. It's just not a physical one as of now. To think otherwise is naive.

We need to fight for and support States rights now more than ever for certain ideals to survive IMO.

When more people realize this is when things may turn into more of an actual Civil War.

Yup. We’re here to fight. The liberals are drawing us into battle. You noticed. The party is changing. Congrats on being mildly observant.

The progressive crusade to remake America via the courts is what is at stake this time. They cannot do it through legislation. They were so close with Obama and Hillary would have finished it off.

That^.

I can't help but wonder why the repubs are acting as their own enemy.

I think the country will split into roughly coastal and non coastal. It may take 50 years, but I see no way around it.

Reading through the beginning of the French Revolution or Andrew Jackson’s Presidency, and it’s tough to miss the parallels.

I was trying to be conservative in my estimate. But it’s probably less than two generations.

That has to be up there with Afreaux linking the Xavier link. At least Afreaux was smart enough to leave and never return, though.

I have found nothing anywhere online that indicates Ford will not testify on Thursday. If she is not going to, then I would agree that they ought to go ahead and vote. The Democrats will show up, vent and walk out or just boycott it. Gotta be better than another shitshow.

Yeah. I read that somewhere and now I can’t find a credible backup.

forget all the genius but he said plaintiffs get to choose their venue and if a case goes to trial or not

Plaintiff always chooses the forum. In what universe is it otherwise? Most cases will present more than one available venue. Who selects? The defendant? If a case can be filed in state or federal court, who selects the forum?

Y’all say the most ignorant stuff.

I believe that is the assumption based on Feinstein’s letter to Grassley demanding to postpone all testimony until there is an FBI investigation.

A little note on plaintiff forum control. . The other person specifically referenced plaintiffs, not me. He obviously was as uninformed as y’all.
