Maybe we should have fixed this problem back in 2018 when he was eluding and resisting arrest. No, let’s just let his rage simmer for a few years and drop the charges. Surely he’ll learn his lesson and become a model immigrant assimilating into American society.

Officers had pulled Wali over just five days earlier, on April 18. During that traffic stop, he was charged with driving on a suspended license. He had been charged in the past for trying to elude police and resisting arrest. Police say officers tried to pull him over in Alexandria in 2018. They say he wouldn’t stop initially. After that stop, his concealed carry permit was suspended. The case occurred before Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano was in office. Charges were pending for about three years before being dropped in 2021.

He said he served with special forces. He actually pulled that gun pretty quick to be in a sitting position

Thank God he didn't keep one in the chamber. That extra second saved that cops life.

Do cops usually call in "Shots fired" when they shoot someone? Did the driver get off a shot?

Don't understand why that is not automatic prison time (not jail) across all states. I know Alabama has passed a law regarding it after a horrific crash in Vestavia/Hoover a couple of years ago, but why did it take so long? You elude police in a car, you go to prison for some minimum time, a year or so.

Very poor police work in this case. A guy with a gun very upset they let him take the fight to them
I don’t understand why the guy said “I’m armed and I have a gun” when the cop walked up to the car and the cop proceeded to hold his walkie in one hand, etc.
That seems like a training video for what not to do as an officer at a traffic stop.
An irate person tells you they’re armed and you all just stand around nonchalantly in his line of fire.

Are you serious?
Just watch the video. He drew his weapon, racked the slide (he’s an idiot for not carrying chambered, but that saves the cops life) and shot both cops on the driver’s side while he was simultaneously shot from the passenger side cop.
Bad police work all the way around. Cops on driver’s side should have never reached in, should have never let him draw AND rack AND get off 3-4 rounds, and cop running security on passenger was very late on the draw AND only shot him a few times as opposed to mag dumping that POS.
So “shots fired” was appropriate.

Yeah, I watched it, but I couldn't tell if the driver had fired or not.

Gotcha, he clipped the cop that retreated to the cop car in the arm, and not sure if he for certain shot the one that reached in but looked like went to the ground as well.
Impressive how fast the POS drew, racked, and fired. Should have never happened aa cop on passenger should have been staring at the right hand and open carry pistol of the POS and immediately drew and fired into the seat.

“If you act an arse, then you draw your weapon on three wary officers, you’re gonna get shot. The moose out front shoulda told ya”

Another radicalized democrat. Cops went easy on him.

I actually felt sympathy for the guy. He just didn't belong here. He failed to adjust to the strange culture. I would have trouble adjusting the his former life.

I get the whole de escalation tactics but that cop was way too chill, my arse would have had my pistol drawn on him from the moment he started raging and had said he was armed.

Some of the worst police tactical work I’ve seen. This video should be used to teach new cops how not to do things. Glad the goat fricker is worm food though.

The guy sounds like he's Tony Montana from "Scarface".

Agree . Joe Biden screwed this guy and thousands of others.
America said, “trust us. Fight with us and we will never let the taliban take over Afghanistan. We lied to him.”
Very sad.

Irate/combative Afghan says he's armed and the cop responds by standing around in the line of fire casually holding his walkie. WTF?
