Nope, my kids are my kids. I made them with my wife. I raised them. I paid all their bills. They are nearing adulthood and independence but they will always be my kids. No one else gets to claim them.

All kids belong to God, their creator, but God gives divested authority to parents to raise and care for them. They don’t belong to the state.

I hear this creepy stuff all the time in church. It is contrary to what the Bible teaches about children. My kids belong to me. Not the church. Not anyone else. You can argue God gave them to me, but they are mine to do with as I please, though I do answer to God for how I teach them.
