There is a Trump interview in 1979 where he said that the US should send troops on the ground to Iran.
2015 interviews: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon.
2023 campaign stops: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon.
2025: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon
2026: Iran tells the US that they have 60% enriched uranium to make 11 nuclear weapons. FAFO.
But you are the genius who is shocked that Donald Trump is bombing Iran because their regime wouldn't commit to no nukes.

Only one side politically demands full submission and adherence to every belief. Men can be women. Open borders.
Don’t agree? You’re a racist fascist.
So you can miss me with your bullshite. You’re describing a very small % of the right.

You think because I didn’t post about it on this board I didn’t criticize him?

I guess I’m old. My parents taught me that the presidency is a position you should always respect no matter who is there. That use to be American values right. Also how the hell can you judge a guy who hasn’t even completed his term yet? Did you judge Poor old grandpa Joes ice cream flavors he picked before he pulled a lid at noon on a Thursday before his 3 day beach get aways? You don’t have to like the person but damn we should all respect the position.

Have you ever thought that just perhaps we are being contrarian to you and your fellow halfwits?
Trump has had more lies told about him than any human in the history of earth. I balance it out by laughing at the nonsense you come up with.

The meth heads have too much invested to admit even just a tiny bit they might have been wrong about him.
It's one thing to be stupid but it's a quantum leap to actually ADMIT you are stupid so don't expect them to ever jump ship.
As an aside remember when talking about his base, he said how much he liked stupid people. Of course he does, they are so much easier to con than free thinkers.
To answer your question, yes, they will defend him till their last breath.

I won’t go so far as to say he’s doing this to get rich. I think he is the most consequential and productive POTUS in a long time, and most of it good. Some I am less happy with, but most of the rest is TBD.
Even that “less than full genuflection”, though, will set off the zealots you are addressing. Any issues I have with Trump pale in comparison with the people that can’t hold a conversation about him without falling into an “all or none” framework.
I disagree with the OP that he’s just a conman. I think he’s well-intentioned and (as Dave Chapelle says) basically an honest liar. He’s a New Yorker, in almost every sense of the term.
He’s not scary, though. The scary ones are the zealots on both ends.

Seriously, what is wrong with yall? This guy is nothing more than a sell out looking to get richer at the cost of us, just like every other politician. Gas is up 60%, possibly more, we’re back fighting in the Middle East, he’s done nothing to help the middle class he ran on. Are people still gonna defend him till their last breath?
Ah yes, here’s another one. Are Reddit’s servers down? These sky screamers are all over this board lately. Go downstairs. Your mom says the meatloaf is ready

It is very simple. Trump made his followers and brand more like a sports team than a politician. The election for him was beyond just going to a voting booth and pulling a lever, it became a rooting interest with wearing Trump branding and Trump merch not just at rallies but everywhere they go like you would a sports team.
It is a cult of personality and seeing Trump as not the greatest would be throwing away part of their personality.

So here's the thing-
most people who voted Trump don't think he's perfect, but that's he's been the only acceptable candidate. The Democrat options have been non-starters, their core principles and focus are rejected.
Find us some better options, and most people would consider them. That hasn't been presented in a long time.

1) absolutely not, but Trump promised justice from the release of these files. It seems the elites are all covering for each other. I wanted trump to drain the swamp
Who hasn't been arrested that needs to be arrested?
It is conspiriatorial behavior to make claims without any evidence.
3.5 million pages released.
Who is being protected?

2) I am a big supporter of his immigration policies and ice. That is definitely a contributing factor
You didn't finish your sentence.
Trump is a contributing factor to lower housing costs (see CPI data just release) and rising wages?

3) seems like it, yes
Such a lazy take.
I could argue just as easily that Israel is doing the bidding of Saudi Arabia and UAE. All 3 were desperate for the US to strike 11 days ago.
And the strike occurred when it did because the Iranian regime were located in a target rich environment.

4) the failure is the conflict itself when he ran on the promise of no more war. Maybe it will be successful, but again, we were told none of our boys would be dying due to him
It takes 2 sides to war.
Ukraine can't unilaterally end the war with Russia unless they give up.
Iran could avoid war with firm actions relating to nuclear and ballistic sites.
"No war" pacifists are why Russia invaded Ukraine.
It is why the US is doing the actions today that we are to prevent US troops involvement in a war of China vs Taiwan (actions such as Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, South America, Greenland).
Both sides have to be pacifists to avoid war. You seem smart and should know this

It’s the “pick-a-side” mentality… of course Trump ain’t did a damn thing to help the average American… prices high, loaned our military to Israel cause, covered up the Epstein stuff, etc. none of it matters to them though … they’ll find some excuse to claim it’s all part of the “plan”…
