Unfortunately you are probable correct. The acting SOS of Pennsylvania is publicly ignoring the ruling of the SCOTUS, and knows that by doing so she will not face any consequences. The leftist don't give two craps about the Constitution, and the conservatives are unwilling to make any kind of real stand against them.

The Supreme Court is irrelevant. It’s rulings can be ignored because it has no way to enforce them. It relies on the Executive Branch and if it says I don’t think so, it can do anything. At this why even have it?

Can someone in the state sue her for disregarding the supreme court?
Their standing would be diminishing the value of their vote.

Good lord, people. Did any of you read beyond a headline?
Basically, this article does not agree with this headline in any way. This says the 3rd Circuits Court of Appeals said you had to count ballots like this. SCOTUS said this case is moot. This would remove the federal question. PA Supreme Court says you do count them. Where in the article is SCOTUS being flouted? It’s like this headline is written by someone who has never read the article.

I’m not an attorney so I’d appreciate any attorneys on the board to straighten me out on this but as I understand it the Supreme Court vacated the appeals court decision and sent it back to the lower court to dismiss as moot because the Republican that brought the suit conceded the race a few months ago. I take this to mean the there was no trial on the matter before rhe Suoreme Court and so they did not rule on the constitutionality of it. They vacated the appeals court decision so that future courts weren’t held to the appeal court’s decision.

This is how I read it as well. I just posted the same. People are freaking out over nothing. This is a BS headline. This is a perfect example of why you never believe the headline. You should always read the article itself. All media does this crap, left and right.
