this is almost like a death sentence as those 85 years or older who break their hip have a 33% chance they will die within the year.

From the statistics you give, it is almost like a life sentence. Additionally the 33% chance is probably for everyone, not for someone who will have baby stem cells injected into her hip every day.

Hope she has enough time left to repent her sins and get right with Jesus. She better start soon.

I’m not going to celebrate anyone getting critically injured but sounds like this will finally get her off the political stage.

She can retire with her grifted millions while her district remains a dystopian nightmare.

Agreed! I don't say that to shame anybody celebrating, but.... yeah. We're all (at least somewhat) human. But her "absence" will be a net positive for the world.

I will not celebrate her dying. I will say I am indifferent to her living or dying but what I am not indifferent to is her reign of terror in Congress ending. If this incapacitates her to where she can no longer harm America then that is a net positive.

Also, between her and Mitch it makes it more and more clear we really need term limits for Congress

I've heard much higher numbers. Like 50-60% die and the rest are never the same again. Falls resulting in a broken hip or femur above the age of 65 are basically a death sentence.

Just curious, why is that the case?

She was obviously drunk if they want to hold her for alcoholism.

The subsequent immobility brought on by the break. There aren't many things worse for you health wise than immobility.
