No to both. The number needed to vaccinate before variants hit their stride was well over 100. In other words, 100+ needed to be vaccinated to prevent one case of Covid.

Nah, it was much more than that. The novelty of it was the reason. The more we are exposed to it the more it becomes “a freaking cold”, but in the beginning, it was killing about 1 in 200.

It’s = it is. Not it was. I never said anything in the past tense.

No it wasn’t. Was more like 1 in 800 and now it’s like one in a million to where if Covid can kill you than a mild breeze can as well. What was killing people was the Remdesivir (which 11.4% of people that got onto that died making it much, much higher than Covid), the ventilators, and all lack of preliminary treatments which were actually available.

Wrong. There is an obvious and well known reward. So obvious that you know it.

They lied about the vaccine’s ability to prevent contagion.

Why would they lie about the #1 purpose of any vaccine?
Isn't this the primary function of any vaccine, to prevent transmission of the virus?
What obvious and well known reward is an adequate secondary benefit to supplant the primary ineffectiveness?

Covid itself causes more myocarditis than the vaccine

You really butchered that.

The # of cases of myocarditis may appear to be higher, but a higher number of people were vaccinated that never needed to be.

It was known very early in the pandemic that the problem was comorbidities and vitamin D deficiency. Healthy people with no comorbidities did not need to be injected with an increased chance of myocarditis via the vaccine.

Stated another way, our medical advisors unwittingly and unnecessarily increased the rate of myocarditis via the vaccine.

Perhaps of the vaccines actually worked… or treated a virus that was actually dangerous…or were even vaccines at all.

The problem with this narrative is it’s built on a foundation of lies.

The population is a huge problem there. You also don’t get to see inside the country much so we really don’t know how many Chinese died

We get to see inside this country and nobody really knows how many people died as a direct result of Covid only, or "from" Covid, or even "with" Covid.

You’re crazy, it’s not happening. Stop being so anti science.

Even if it’s happening, and it probably isn’t, it’s such a small number it doesn’t matter.

OK, it’s happening and it’s good thing!

No person that was healthy and young should have gotten that vaccine.

My wife worked in the hospital all during Covid. When it was over I asked what percentage of the covid infected people requiring hospitalization were obese. She said 'All of them.'

I’d guess it was to trick people into getting it so that the establishment could make lots of money.

Yes

Adequate? I don’t know. I was responding to a poster who said there were NO benefits. I correctly pointed out that that was wrong.

That’s true, and it begs the question, why would you chime in about what it is now when we were talking about the tradeoffs when the vaccines came out?

I think the argument about whether vaccines are worth it now has been won by the No Team. Only people at high risk should be taking it.
