Iran wasn't involved in 9/11 and the only attacks from Iran and its proxies I'm aware of from Iran were military/government targets which are not terrorist attacks. They were also 40 years ago while we were at the same time using Iraq as a proxy, which is why and how Saddam got chemical weapons - so he could use them against Iran.

So does that mean we sponsor terrorism around the world too since we gave another country chemical weapons and kept them at war with Iran for 8 years? We are apparently responsible for everything Iraq did according to your logic.

You can probably name a few extremists that do, but that's not why the majority of them or why they get supported.

The majority of people just want to be left alone and to live in peace.

But if you start attacking them, then they are going to hate you and then the extremists are the solution for them.

Which is why both Iraq and Afghanistan were failures that did nothing but kill a lot of people and waste a lot of money and resources.

Imagine if we were spending money, we do on our own infrastructure and our own people instead of destroying it around the world. Or just have not stolen it to begin with really.
