If you're going to be purposely obtuse and hyperbolic when I answer your question, then I won't take your questions seriously

Sorry the inconsistent messaging from the administration is confusing as frick.
Your answer doesn’t follow what Trump was saying. Why should I believe it?

If this ceasefire lasts and Israel is included. Trump and Israel won. They took out the supreme leader and Iran is forced to swallow that resentment. Trump gets to avoid a big war and have everything go back to what it was before.
That is huge. It shows the difference in strength between our countries. Because if Iran took out our leader, there's no doubt in my mind that we would have feet on the ground and hitting Iran with almost everything we have. There's no way we'd agree to a ceasefire..

Democrats created this Monster in the Middle East
Reagan armed the Iranians in 1981 in their war against Iraq and he helped legitimize the government. Reagan also armed the Taliban in the 1980’s in their war against Russia.
Those are 2 of the 4 countries that have strict Sharia Law.
This has nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats that are in office now. It is the mistakes we made 40 to 50 years ago.

bullshite
How else would I know that about your kid? You bitched at people for not wearing mask and mentioned how they were selfish for not wearing mask because your kid.
If that didn't happen, how would I know that?
Why are you a liar?

quote:If your justification for treating them as a threat is that they’re an Islamic terrorist state, which we all know are powered by resentment, proxies, and long-tail retaliation, then creating more resentment inside that system isn’t a victory condition.

Iran can’t put boots on American soil. But lack of ability isn’t lack of will. Their playbook is different: proxies, regional strikes, and deniable attacks. That’s the capabilities they actually have, and it’s the same ones everyone points to when calling them a threat.
So saying “we wouldn’t accept a ceasefire” misses the entire international dynamic. A ceasefire doesn’t neutralize the kind of retaliation they’re built around. It just pauses direct conflict (where they're weaker) while leaving their main tools completely intact.

Been a Trump supporter. Think this has been bungled. Don’t see them restarting the military campaign after this break unless Iran does something egregious.
Also think threatening to blow them was more wild than threatening.
I think they become full blown Chinese client state, trading infrastructure for oil without US boots on ground, which would be a disaster.
Could have let Israel drop the first one and then hang back and hope for reset. Pushing the chips in without full commitment is wild.

The Strait of Hormuz will have a toll booth for the first time in history...
The ceasefire agreement includes allowing both Iran and Oman to charge fees on ships transiting the Strait.
Iran will use the revenue for reconstruction.
The world never paid to use this waterway before tonight.
Iran went to war with the most powerful military on earth and came out of it with something no nation has ever had: a formal revenue stream from 20% of the world's oil supply passing through its waters.
