Maybe we should sub out the Jews/Israel to handle the Cartels. They did a number on Hezbollah.

It’s an interesting topic. I don’t know the answers, but if we can send the military into Pakistan to kill OBL without notifying Pakistan, can we do it to Mexico?

Yep. That’s exactly what a terrorist is.

Ours, now if a few of theirs die so be it. Maybe their government should stop taking the cartels money and do their damn job…..

They are now terrorists and as such they are a threat from within. Cartels are here in the USA.

This is an effort I can get behind

You really think they'd send their people to come fight and die for our border?

There is a large difference in a single op with a country like Pakistan and a multi-year effort with hundreds/thousands of ops with one of our closest allies and trading partners.

How about you go frick yourself you steaming piece of shite. My son is dead because of those frickers. I hope we rain hell down on them and their fricking families! Time to go Old Testament on those scumbags.

This is the same appeal to emotion that we saw with the WOT

What happened to you sucked, just like 911 sucked for thousands of families.

Didn't justify our invasion of Iraq, just as your son's death doesn't justify an invasion of Mexico.

Leave the war on drugs in history.

Make this a war on cartels, wherever they are. There's no reason we can't firebomb the compounds and homes of every cartel and drug outfit in central and south america.

What, in the history of the War on Drugs, ......

How do you define the War on Drugs historically? Were bombs dropped on cartel headquarter, warehouse, or manufacturing facilities? If not, how has there been a war on drugs?

The gloves were taken off today by the most powerful man in the world whose orders can eliminate real problems very quickly. I guess, since we are at war, he does not even have to declare it.

Just like terrorists in the ME, right? How did that work?

You are aware that they’re in your neighborhoods, right? The street gangs are just extensions of the cartels (who are already here too but not as numerous).

Legalize weed in the entire country so the cartels quit setting up illegal groves in states where it is legal to sell illegally in states where weed is illegal.

What, in the history of the War on Drugs, has proven to be good for the average US citizen?
I'm certain that there are average people who saw their lives improved when certain drug dealers and gangs were rounded up and convicted.

I think it clearly gives the ranchers help in Texas. People are going to start killing the coyotes and no they will be protected.

It's too bad YT has so many restrictive policies. I'd love to see some new "pest control" channels start up from the natives, and the border towns.

What did you feel as you shot that coyote?
308 recoil.

Cartel are wreaking havoc in US. There’s not too many crimes they ain’t committing.

I say “Turn the special ops dawgs” loose on them.

But for that part that includes Mexico we will be obligated to accept refugees and asylum seekers for a war that we start in their lands. I know I will get blasted for that but it is true.

That could be avoided though, couldn't it? By simply not acting on foreign soil?
There is also the CIA. (Yeah, we hate them, but they do have a few legit uses.)
And of course there's black ops with Deniability.
