As I said the other day I would like to see the government try this AC shite down here in the South. There wouldn’t be a police station or government building left standing anywhere in Dixi lol. Being hot is bad enough and could drive any man into action by itself. Men having to listen to their wives or significant other complaining about being hot every 5 minutes would cause a massive revolt lol.

Build more capacity. It's like you have a product and people want it so why would you ration it? Build more. Hot people are generally not very pleasant to deal with. Why do they say, "hey man keep your cool?"

South Louisiana near the gulf is humid. You have to run the a/c to take the humidity out of the air or it will be uncomfortable. If your unit is properly sized or you can zone it with window units or splits, it shouldn't be hard to manage to the heat. As for New York, they voted the mayor in knowing his position on this and other issues. Get what you ask for. Safe summer everyone

I lowered to 70 this morning so it wouldn't get so hot with dozens of my clan celebrating freedom today (ETA: And cooking, etc.). Turns out, the rain kept the heat at bay. Just clicked back up to 71.
