For the record, I think everything we've done in Iran post Midnight Hammer has been an epic F up. Mainly because anyone with even an iota of common sense realized that it had the potential to be a bigger sinkhole than AFG, which is saying something.
All that said, we're stuck there now, and we look increasingly weak due to POTUS' perpetual stalling now that he finally understands that he was duped into this by Israel and probably influences from the MIC.
Which is all to say that we need an exit ramp to avoid a prolonged, boots on the ground engagement.
The only option I see is to bomb the hell out of them again. Hit whatever military and industrial, non-civilian targets remain. Then declare victory and leave.
And yes, a sectarian shitshow will unfold, and one bunch of nuts or another will takeover. When they do, if they are not to our liking, rinse and repeat until another group that we can work with takes over.
Otherwise, this dumpster fire will burn on for years, inflation will skyrocket, and we'll end up eventually leaving in a more humiliating fashion, as was the case in AFG. All for nothing.
F all that. Time to cut bait and leave.

We don’t owe Iran a “rebuild.” We leave them to sort it out on their own. If the next group of raghead maniacs fricks with us, we frick them up. Even browns can learn eventually.
